What's a good Halloween costume for a lolita? I was thinking of taking one of my punk loli outfits and making it into a punk loli pirate costume. But what else would be a good idea?

I suppose you could do a number of cosplay things, like a nurse or chi, etc.
I'm partial for a vampire costume, think Claudia from interview with a vampire.
course I'm in love with the Marie Antoinette costumes they have out this year. my heart flutters when I think about it.
unfortunately my boyfriend and I are doing a couples costume since we've never done one and he wasn't for being Louie. So we're being pimps (I told him I wouldn't be the ho). I got this really cool cat costume from work and altered it pretty nicely but it's far from lolita.

I'm generally too busy running around to get a costume together for Halloween anymore. Chances are, I'll wear my little devil horns and that's it. Very subtle things, those. They're the kind that are cast and painted, then put on transparent elastic thread. So. My hair hides almost all of them but their tips.
As for a lolita-styled Halloween costume? Dunno what to tell you on that one.
I think that the Wonderland theme has probably been done to death.

I was a fairy for the last few years... and I was hoping to take the wings that I have from that and decided that I was going to make a Loli outfit that went with them and add me a mini-crown on top.

Alice in Wonderland probably has been done too often, but it seems like it could work well. Cosplay, if you're up for it can also work.
Of course, by the time I arrived, these ideas have already been said and your idea is already pretty good. So, a princess maybe? Or a doll perhaps? I don't seem to be too creative in coming up with ideas...

Me too! My friends and I was just browsing through Hot Topic because we just ate and felt like walking. I just saw it and was like:

I'm still thinking about it because it's so short, but I have short legs. wink

.::There is a lot of thing you can do in Lolita! The punk-pirate costume sounds wonderful, you could also do a nurse, devil, angel, puppet, catgirl, princess, fairy, bride, or a whole bunch of things. I myself am going as a wind-up doll! ♥

I didn't know that ten thirty one was an independent line? That's pretty sad since they are very low quality costumes and would be pathetic if a stripper wore them. not to mention they're complete rip offs of the leg avenue line. There are much better quality Marie Antoinette costumes out there. I wouldn't be worried about the length though because you can always wear an underskirt.

Like I said, I'm not averse to people wearing them for Halloween, but it's generally a good idea for people to know what they're getting before they buy it, y'know?

I bought a SchoolGirlBatGirl costume [[hard to explain... a school uniform dress with bat wings]] Which is cute, but plain, so i plan on fixing it up a little. heart
