Well, this is kind of self-explanatory. Sparring is basically training your skills by staging a combat situation with a partner, like a non-deadly duel, though it's not always two combatants.

You can set up any rules you like for your matches, but I want no killing or severe injuries, of course. Our medics can take care of most injuries, as can your newly-increased healing ability, however, we'd still like to avoid maiming our soldiers. Replacement limbs aren't that fun.

Other than that, fight honorably, or be sneaky and throw dirt in your opponent's eyes, it doesn't matter.
