I think maybe Dumbledore was Gryfindor's heir

cedric is dead so who will be the heir of their house? about harry... he's my favorite character though i don't believe that he's the heir of gryffindor. i think the heir should be the wisiest of all. harry is too impulsive. most of the time, he looses his temper. i remember the sectumsempra that he did to draco. that's very wrong.

I dont think Harry is the Heir, but isnt it kinda interesting that his house with his parents is in Godrics Hollow? Maybe it was just named after him, but still an interesting cioncidence, if thats all it is.... *fades out with suspensful music*

Eh, I don't know about Ron...besides, a true Gryffindor could mean his heir. An heir would be the only true Gryffindor, after all. I'm not sayin he is, I'm just sayin it's possible.

Harry did turn down "greatness" in Slytherin to be in Gryffindor. confused

But we don't know what house Dumbledore was in! He could have been in Ravenclaw for all we know. Heck, maybe he went to Durmstrang school!

Um, yeah, maybe the heir should be wise, or less impulsive, or whatever, but it's not like they have a choice who is the heir. And yes, what Harry did to Draco was wrong, and it made me extremely angry.

Personally, I don't think Harry should be heir of Gryffindor, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was. As for Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, why do they have to have heirs? Maybe the line died out. Maybe, the line was killed off (perhaps Voldie wanted to be more unrivaled).

Yes, but a lot of people lived in Godric's Hollow, it was a Muggle town, so probably there were quite a few people there.

It would, though possibly be why Voldemort wanted to kill Harry, and James, but didn't really care about whether Lily died.
