I've heard that the quickest and best way to learn a language is complete immersion, so after this post I want to try and have a conversation with someone entirely in Japanese 3nodding Sadly, as my Japanese is very lacking, I may need some help and it would be nice to have someone fluently bilingual conversing with me so that we're not each confused, using improper grammar, or sticking to only the simplest of sentences.

私 の 日本語 は わるい です。 たすけます ください。 (Is this the inappropriate time to use "tasukeru"? My dictionary said it meant "to aide", but someone told me it means "to save" x_x If it's inappropriate, what should I use?)

Am on a public computer so cannot to Japanese characters, sorry.

"Tasukeru" would be okay I think. But, "tasukemasu kudasai" makes no sense. "Tasukete kudasai" is what you're looking for.

お早う。
To ask someone's name you should either just say: あなたは? or なまえは? wink

僕は経妄荷です。日本語の2年生です。何は話しますか。

If you can't read all those kanji yet:
ぼくはへるもうにです。にほんごのにねんせいです。なにははなしますか。

Yeah sweatdrop My kanji is super-limited.

どうぞ よろしく、 へるもうに。

I believe you said you've spoken Japanese for 2 years?

ぼく の 日本語 は あたらしい です。 ごめなさい。 ^^;;

And your final question- did you ask what I spoke?

スッペインご と えいご はなします。

I said I was a second year Japanese student. (But the college currently recognises meas a first because I studied on my own for one year and skipped only a semester.)

If I asked what you spoke I would say
何語が分かりますか。(なんごがわかりますか。) (What language do you understand?) What I was asking is what would you like to talk about, although I'm probably missing something.

Ahh.. I saw:

何は話しますか

And I recognized "nani" (one of the few kanji I know- "what") ha (wa?) hanashimasu ("to speak") ka (interrogative). I was thinking the last sentence meant "what do you speak?". Did I misinterpret? sweatdrop (This is what happens when the only Japanese you know is from furiously studying a Japanese dictionary)

And as for the sentence before, I saw "I am 2 year of Japanese." So does ねんせい refer to what level of class you're in?

^^;; This is why I said beginner seeking advanced sweatdrop

ねえ、みんな。今日はタイヘンつまんない日なんだよ。雨が降っているから、アパートを出れない。けどこのとこで何もできない。それ以外、お腹が空いたよ!でもほとんどお金がないから、食べ物を買えない~! crying アー、どうすればいいかな。嫌いだ、大学。あ、いい事が一つあった。今日、やっとこのコンピューターでインタネットが使えるようになった。すげ~。

とにかく、犬を食べたことあるのか。僕なら、毎日食べる!(冗談)
