i have a dean vendetta and am looking for a new set of hummbuckers for it. im looking for pick-ups that can produce a heavy metal sound as well as a little classic rock and a good clean sound. my options are Lace, Emg, or Semour Duncan. i have no price range. whats you opinion?

for a good clean, stay far away from EMG pickups. they tend to have a "sterile" sound to them, they dont show as of the strings, wood ect that makes clean playing...well...clean, and they compress alot. id stick with duncan, but ive heard really good things about lace pickups, also check out dimarzio

Hm...
I would suggest:
Bridge - Breed or Tone Zone from Dimarzio.
Neck - Humbucker from Hell, Virtual Hot PAF from Dimarzio.
But I'm a dimarzio freak XD

Seymour Duncans are good for Heavy and clean tones, so I reccommend those.
