Takalian Alright, if combining things were an option, here's what I would have for subforums:
Mod Talk - Announcements, stickies, suggestions and guild improvement!
PPS Newspaper - Planning, critiques and Issues
PPS Mini Events - Contests, challenges and events (Couldn't we just have a thread for this?)
Avatar Chatter - Fashion, tekteking and item discussion
Roleplay Room - where'd I put my hobbit feet?
Intellectual Corner - Politics, debates
Technical - Computer advice, html/css & profile help
Quests & Goals/GDU - Charities and Quest!
Barter Square - (art) Shops, buying/selling/auctions
Archives - outdated but important threads, misc storage etcetc

You forgot Entertainment. That takes care of music, movies, tv, and video games.
Other than that it looks good to me. 3nodding

I think we should leave Post Games in there.
It's one of those things that can't really survive without it's own little subforum.
Also, post games would be out of place in the main forum.
And even if we left them there, they would be lost after a couple of days.
And Post Games are fuuuun.

Definitely need an Entertainment section.
But do ya'll really think it's the subforums fault?
People could just be coming around less.

i think it's just a busy time of the year. school, work, whatever gets in the way of gaia. it happens.
oh, and since we are discussing subforums, i really think we should have a forum exclusively devoted to a purple penguin exchange in which purple penguins can buy and sell items off each other. i have proposed this idea on numerous occasions, and most people agree with me.

o_O I think the subforums are fine. Rather: people should be encouraged to post anything in the main forum, then when the topic appears to die (or fall back to page..say...3) it gets moved to an appropriate subforum..where people can revive the topic if they want to.
Would need a small team of mods fine with cleaning up every few days though.
I concur about school/work/fall stuff. We're approaching major retail holidays were anyone who works even part time in a mall is gonna be swamped. I feel stressed out and bleh and Im just the nanny for someone in retail.

toxic valentine Sailor_Chibi: I think that may be a bit too narrow. Then the subforums would start to become jumbled.
I did mention at the bottom that I striked out all the forums that could be combined as well. As I said before, we have a lot of pointless subforums. Why do we need one for each video games, television and music? Those can easily be converted into one.

I kinda like Rivei's suggestion.
I'd gladly offer myself for the cleaning crew.
Heh heh.
But, regardless, I think that the subforums could be more useful if we condensed them.
