Go to WWE.com and check out the smackdown roster..I don't get to watch smackdown much but was it striped away from Hornswagle because they currently don't have anyone holding the title?

Yes. The acting gm of smackdown vicky guerrero (sp) decided that for Hornswaggles own protection that he abdicate the cruiserweight championship.
