and yes Ive seen pictures of a tomboyish style lolita XP
They look pretty cool if you look it up.

Try looking for stuff that isnt elegant, or sweet lolita

more of the less popular ones like the pirate lolita youll find really awsomeones like that XD

OHHH! I just adore Kodona!!! XD Well, not for me, but I love when I am able to see the boys in Dandy or Kodona style! They are soooo cute! Well, and some times they pull it off very well, and... O.o *nosebleed*

I love wearing the style and im a GIRL...you dont even want to know how many girls rush up to me and say "Please tell me your a boy!" only to be sadly dissapointed blaugh . I have even been hugged a few times and im short enough that i once had this girl lift me into the air and threaten to run off with me...right in front of my HUSBAND! redface That was embarassing.

I'm not an expert but I think a newsboy hat would be cute, especially for kodona.

But im sure you can get a lot of clothes you find altered(tailored) into the style that fits the idea of boystyle.

Just look at a few references and youll see what i mean.

My friend is gonna be a pirate lolita, but its kinda mixed with the whole idea of boystyle (the coat darkbrown-black long shorts etc).

Well actually my friend is alterting some stuff. Like the coat is gonna be brokendown and sewn up again smile
Basically adding the buttons and extra stuff that would suit her. Then the pants shes adding buttons and such.

So, yesterday someone walks up to me and says "I LOVE your tomboy Lolita style!!" I can see where she gets that idea. Almost everyday, I wear a top hat, vintage frilly button-up shirts, elaborate overcoats... But I never really thought about a tomboy Lolita style. Does anyone else think its possible?

"tomboy" is just the wrong word... i would have cringed to hear someone refer it like that. but it would prolly be more the style of a male gothic aristocrat, seeing as it isn't a mini top hat ^_~

I wouldn't have called it tomboy, but I always considered it another type of lolita, or just the male style. I never considered it that way, Lolita's so androgynous.
