At last her afternoon was almost at an end, as Raina sat in her HIstory of Magic classroom waiting for her students to arrive for their first class.

"ello" Lupy said, waving to Raina as he sluggishly walked into the classroom and again took a seat at the back of the room.

"Hello Mr. Lupus" she said, smiling at his lazy behavior "Are you going to have enough energy for quiditch practice later?" she asked sweetly.

Gabriella walks in behind Lupy, she smiles at him shyly before handing Raina a Red delicious apple and taking a seat near the front of the class room.

Raina smiled kindly at Gabriella and said "Thank you Miss. Skye" as she nodded her head towards the other girl, and picked up the lovely apple that she had set on her desk.

Gabriella smiles at Ms Raina and glances back at Lupy and smiles. Then she notices her friend LaAngel making kissing lips at her. Knowing she's crushing on Lupy LaAngel teases her. Gabriella then gives her a look as if, to please stop.

Smiling at the students as they took their seats, Raina tapped her wand to her open History of magic book, and from the tip of her wand went flying several bluish sparks. The sparks soared across her desk, and went to the students Hom books and caused each book to glow blue, and fly out of their bag and onto their desk, and open up to page 12, which was the start of Chapter one.

Gabriella watches and looks with amazement as she glances at the pages the book opened to. At this point Gabriella realizes why she took this class and becomes wrapped up into todays lesson.

"Todays lesson will start in 1560 with the birth of a great man" as she spoke the room arouind them seemed to transform, and the students found themselves sitting at their desks in a one roomed house, where infront of them a young African witch was surrounded by two other witches as she gave birth to a son.
"Mr. Mungo Bonham, who was born as you see, in 1560, he graduated from the Muggle school of Medicine at the Age of 22, and at the age of 46 he opened the St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Ailments and Injuries"
Again as she spoke the room changed and this time they saw a young African Wizard with a braid down his back, dressed in a muggle suit of the 16th century, standing at a podium infront of less tan a dozen other males all dressed the same as him. As he walked down the Aisle away from the podium the scene changed again, and this time they saw the same man, with puffy black hair in a white hall of a relatively small hospital, he was walking down the hall, (which happened to pass right through lupy's desk,) he then turned into a patient's room, where they observed him approaching the patient in the second bed, he then pulled a tonic out of his robe pocket, and held the mans head up to feed him the potion. The man seemed to cringe in pain as he drank it, but moments later the pock marks on the sickly man's face had all but dissapeared.

He was completely blown away by the sight before him, how Raina had managed to make this seem so real, was beyond him, but he quickly realized why the headmaster had asked her to teach, and he was glad. The last 3 years in history of magic had been terribly boring, but he didn't see that happening this year at all.

Gabriella was so excited to be taking this class and after seeing todays lesson she realizes that she has a passion and drive for more knowledge. Gabriella thinks to herself how lucky she is to be in a class with a teaacher who is so creative and makes you thirst for more knowledge

Raina smiled inwardly at the looks of surprise on her students faces, and then continued on.
"St. Mungo's is located in London, and currently has 6 levels used to tend different forms of Magical Ailments.... Each of the staff members wears lime green robes with the St. Mungos emblem on them. Now can anyone tell me what that Emblem looks like?" she asked sweetly as she looked from face to face.

"Well Done Miss. Skye" she said beaming at her student "5 points for Hufflepuff" she said kindly before continuing "Alright, That'll do for today, Please Read up on St. Mungo's, i may be asking more questions about it next time." she said as she dismissed her class.
