The commotion down in the main room, the gunshots, the yelling.. all of it seemed to have happened in a blur.. really it did. Then there was people running everywhere, that horrible dragon was roaring.. and Echo had fled back up the stairs after going down to investigate.. of course that had been hampered by having to find his clothes again..
Who would have thought the Champagne would have gone to his head quite so much.. oh heavens how was he going to be able to look at Jareth the same now that he'd seen.. well.. lets just say the Cod Pieace was out of the net...
El Rey was a git. He'd told the Asrai that something like this would happen, and professed it as a good thing as they'd known eachother many hundreds of years..
El Rey was the only Ruler of Eldorado ever.. and Echo had been alive almost as long as him.. so it was natural that El Rey tried to set the Asrai up with anyone who breather. despites Echo's insistance that he'd be better off with somone who didnt need to.. being a water spirit and all.. but regardless.. noise commotion.. gunshots..sleeping with the goblin king.. well.. what a day really...

Jareth awoke to shouting and loud noises. And with his current state, which he quickly recognised as a cripling hangover, noise wasn't very welcome. He swore to himself that he would never drink again. After all he had ended up getting married the last time something like this had hapened. Or maybe it had happened because he had gotten married, either way it was a horrible evening. This time around hadn't been quite so horrible, but he was begining to wonder why he was naked, and in Macy's guest room no less. And yet again he wondered the Unigon had mooched around in his castle when he had a perectly good house of his own.

Echo, dressed of course, but looking highly mussed made his way back up tot eh room that had been in, once again passing the main room that still appeared to be full of naga..
He pushed the door open, having decided that asking Jareth what was going on might be a good idea.. he instantly felt a little embaressed though and managed to be quite intelligable in his speech for the first few lines..
Finally though he stuttered out..
"A pirate came in and started shooting, then a lot of people ran away.. I think the big dragon man is going hurt somone.." this was probably going to be bad news for Jareth, though Ehco didnt know the GOblin King was at the top of Murdoths death list..

Jareth looked up at the person who had just come in. He remembered him as El Rey's friend from the ball. Oh right, the ball. The drinking, the rather clumsy dancing, and then....
Oh dear god no! The memory had somehow entered his brain and the Goblin King felt his heart sink a little. The memory wasn't all that unpleasant, but could he have been even more of an idiot? Well he could have done it in a maid's outfit, but still his actions had been incredibly moronic.
"Pirate?" he said trying to sound as dignified as possibly while trying to get his shirt over his head. "Oh that's just my cousin. Murdoth was out for his blood so he's probably done a runner by now."

Echo nodded slowly, his eyes everywhere but Jareth right now.. could this really be much more uncomfortable..
"He was yelling somthing about 'how that b*****d got away..' and that he needed to 'search the house' or somthign.. he might get eaten by the Naga's though.. however many are in there.." he cast the neighbouring wall a wary look.
"He didnt sound very pleased Jareth, thats for sure.." Echo shook his head..
"I uh... I dont think I know where El Rey's gone.." he said quietly, looking down at the floor for a moment, he felt a little lost right now..
He certainly didnt know anyone in this house..
"Do you.. perhapse know anywhere I could stay while I try to find him..? I'm sorry to ask.. but.." he spread his hands, feeling a little lost. Man he hated feeling weepy..

The awkwardness was so thick by this point, Jareth could have cut it with a knife. Someone laughed in the roon next door and the Goblin King wondered what his adopted son would say when he found his entire mansion had been used for a score of one night stands. Hell if those nagas had been in his room, he'd have burned everything in it and moved away. He had no idea rattles could be used that way. But he was veering off topic. He had managed to get dressed by now and was trying to avoid the beautiful Asrai's gaze, who in turn was doing the exact same thing to him.
"Well I should probably go and talk to Caspian at some point. But you're more than welcome to stay at my castle for a while." he replied, it sounded like a very pathetic gesture. Should he apologise for earlier? He really didn't know what to say.

Echo nodded slowly, finally looking up to let his eyes rest on the goblin kings face for a moment, a very small smile lifting his lips..
"Thank you very much, Jareth." He said quietly, holding his purple robe like garment around him, the tie had wandered off, and he'd as of yet been unable to locate it..
"I believe I know the way, if you need to depart.. His Magesty, King El Rey showed me the Goblin Kingdom on our way through.. " he nodded his eyes flicking back down to the floor again as a hand lifted to move some of his lose wavy silver hair back over his shoulder, the two grip like ornaments that had been in it before were held in his other hand.
"Perhapse then.. I might see you again when you return from seeinf this.. Caspian.." he didnt look up however.

Jareth smiled slightly, not his usual sarcastic evil smirk smile, but a real genuine smile that made his face ache. He stepped over to the Asrai and handed him a strange key.
"This is a goblin key, like a skeleton key but less clever. It'll allow you safe access through the Labyrinth and into the castle."
He wanted to kiss the other man, but wasn't sure if it was appropriate.
"Are you sure you'll be all right?" he asked.

Echo reached out his hand and let his long, thin fingers curl around the key..
"Goblin key..?" he said with a small smile,
"Cunning name.." he tucked the little key into a small pouch he had hanging from his arm.
"I think I'll be fine.." he stated with a nod,
"I'm presuming from the fact you're giving me a key this visit to see Caspian could take quite a while..?" he didnt mind, it wasnt like they had any automatic hold over each other because they slept together.. but.. well, it had been a long time since he had just gone and done exactly what felt right, usually he was just sayingno to annoy El Rey.. but then again he couldnt see the elaborate surroundings that the King of El Dorado's friends took him to, as El Rey himself had never taken Echo into the city. It was rather annoying..
With a small smile he leant forward and pressed a light kiss to the Goblin kings cheek..
"I think I hear that Dragon coming this way.. we'd better run!" And with a small laugh he did just that, at least most of the way down the corridoor, after that he gave up as it was just too painful.
On the upside.. it wasnt every night you gotto spend the night with a king.. Just most in the case of El Rey when he felt bored and ignored.
