Elian who was lounging by the side of the fish tank looked up at the voice and blinked lazily.
"Ohh... for swimming. They help me move through the water quicker." he pauses then adds ," at least tha's what Maggie tells me."

Gusty: *looks on him thoughtfully* Wow.. Never met a cat who actually likes to swim before.. that's cool. Are you good? I mean.. at swimming? Hey! are you fishing for food? I can try that too..

Elian flicks his tail and nods enthusiastically! "Yes I love to swim! It's quite my favorite thing. Do you swim?" he raises an eyebrow and tilts his head to the side," Fish? What're fish?"

Gusty: "um... It doesn't matter... nevermind about the fish... Oh, well, I haven't tried to swim. Most of the other cats I know avoid water like it's the worst thing ever... I figured I'd just be better safe then sorry." *flips tail about behind her*
