Oh jeeze.
Well I'm concerned that when I get braces [in about a month] if I ever try to give my boyfriend oral sex I'll hurt him.
I've seen warnings and stuff about kissing, and being careful so you don't scratch them, but nothing about oral sex.
Anyone know what to do to be more careful?
I don't want to hurt him and I'm afraid that since it's such a sensitive area it'd be really easy to scratch.

Don't go to fast and just be gentle. Watch out for the uber sensitive parts.
It's still doable, but you have to be more aware of it.
I don't have braces, and I haven't had them; but my cousin got hers on a few months ago, and she says it's fine and it's still easy, but she accidentally nipped a little skin from going to fast.
If you have a big mouth, it should be a little bit easier, to like avoid getting your teeth to touch and whatnot.

Ahh... not good. I have a tiny mouth and I didn't even think about that.
That's probably going to be a problem because he's kind of big...
And I had problems with out braces...
So maybe he'll just have to deal with out oral.

well with braces for about a week you're mouth feels too big and too many things crammed in it. eventually you'll get used to them and you'll forget you even have them. so you should be ok after a bit, and just be careful. or your could take the wax they give you and cover your braces.

Braces really aren't as sharp as everyone thinks. I mean, they're in your mouth, a very soft area. ...Yeah, sometimes they rub some of the skin raw but they'll give you wax to put over the braces for that. I've had braces for 10 months now and I haven't had too many problems. Once you get used to them (a couple of weeks once you first get them, about a week after your first get them tightened and then a couple days after the second tightening) you'll almost forget you have them. ^_^
The best thing to do, if you're worried about hurting him, is to practice oral as if you have braces on right now, as in just rolling your lips over your teeth (sort of like you're about to put on lipstick or something) and it should work. I've never had a problem yet. And my mouth is sorta small and my bf's p***s isn't too small. Or just trial and error and take it slow. And relax when you're doing it as well. Things won't go that badly. ^_^
P.S. I've been told by some guys that scraping of teeth actually hurts more than braces.
