He yawned and moved on his side, smiling contently in his sleep. He moved a little more, his back paws slipping into the water. Water? He tensed, his eyes opening quickly. He rose his head, his eyes huge. He breathed in a shaky gulp, his body shook in fear. He had ended up on a rock, somehow when he had been sleepily trying to find a place to sleep he must not of noticed the water.
Kenzie clutched his nearby candle close to his heart, his heart beat in anticipation. He could fly away but what if, what if his wings gave out during his flight over the water? He'd fall in and then, and then. He trembled and gasped more heavily. His left ear twitched, and he clenched his teeth. He eyed the purple soda's watery like surface. It looked shallow but then it was a trick, a trick on him!
"HELP!!" He screeched, hoping someone, preferably Kerrie would find him and take him away from all this. He needed to get away, he watched the purple soda fearfully.

Seicha was stalking a marshmallow butterfly. She crept along behind the thing as it flitted along, completely oblivious to the little Numa behind it. Ohhh, it would taste SO good! The mallowfly alighted on a flower and Seicha froze, her rear end waving in the air as she got ready to pounce.
All right... now! She launched herself into the air, ready to land on the mallowfly. What? She lost her concentration for just a moment, hearing what sounded like a cry for help.
"Oh, toffee bits..." She muttered as she landed back on the ground, having completely lost the mallowfly. She sighed and turned toward where the cry sounded like it had originated from. "Hello?"

He clutched his candle still, eyeing that purple soda. Stupid, he was so stupid. He should of paid more attention to where he had been going, but he had been so exhausted. Now look at where he was, the trouble he landed himself in. The hello pulled him away from his thoughts. There was another Numa around, it had to be another Numa!
"Over here!!" He shouted to the voice that had come from over there. "On the grape soda stream!" Kenzie thought to add, just in case the other had no clue where he was. He didn't like talking much but he had to do in order to get out of this mess. But wait, what if this other couldn't help him? Gah he could not think like that now. He twitched, his paws shaking around the candle holder.

Seicha peered towards the source of the sound. "Keep calling; I can't see you!" She called back, padding towards the stream bank.

There was someone afterall! But wait that sounded like a young voice. What if, what if.....gah he had to stay calm, yes stay calm. If only he knew how to swim, though weren't males supposed to be able to? Yes, Kerrie did say....oh gosh he was hopeless. He placed a paw over his eyes. The grape soda river was calm and all but still....not knowing how to swim was bad. "Here, I'm on the rock!" He waved the candle in the air with his other paw, hoping the Numa would see.

Seicha saw a glimmer of light flailing back and forth. It... looked like it was in the middle of the stream? The voice had said something about the stream, but she hadn't thought it meant that the creature was actually IN the stream.
"I see a light. Is that you?" She called, slowly moving near the stream, taking care not to fall in herself.
