Heh, I'm in that catagory too. It really sucks if you're a girl. D:
Lifting weights, running, and eating right along with staying hydrated is really important.
I usually work out 2-3 times a day, but that's because I'm on a mandatory "lose weight or lose the contract" gig because I went on medical leave for a year. sweatdrop

you can lose weight with out working out or running. all you have to do is drink a liter of water before every meal and at least three between all meals. your stomach will be full and you wont be able to eat as much as if you didn't drink the water. any drink will fill your stomach up but water will be the fastest for losing weight. biggrin hope that helps weight lost by working out is dangerous because it can also make you lose healthy things.

I still enjoy working out, plus (don't laugh) i do P90X, its quite effecting. I was on medical leave from the Canadian Forces for 4 months because I tore my Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) when i popped my knee out of place when i was paint balling. during the time off i gained a not-so-attractive ponch, and lost some muscle mass. during the last month, I started P90X, I lost the belly fat, became more in shape then I was when in the forces, and lost an extra 10 pounds, putting me now at 221 lbs (I'm 6' 3" and built stocky.) So I recommend P90X to anyone who wants to better themselves, or who want to get is shape quickly. If you want though you can try cross-training, but if all else fails try to join a different job in the army where your job carries you (I'm EME, and the MLV carries me! LOL, not much physical fitness needed, just enough so you can keep up when you gotta do drills. I just like being in shape though.)

I've never met a wrestler that drank a lot of water when they were cutting weight.. and I wrestle in college. eek When cutting weight you stop eating and stop drinking... you literally starve yourself. That's how wrestlers CUT weight. My beef with the water suggestion is that it's dangerous to drink too much water, you can over hydrate and die, just like you can dehydrate and die. As previously stated, I'm a wrestler, so I can't actually help you LOSE weight. But I can sure as hell help you to lose 20 lbs in a week! 4laugh I just wanted to warn you about the water thing.
