it may be harder for him to see you like that. i he loves you deep in his heart and that will never change but i think that its something that he needs to accept. if he cant then thats his issue to deal with. you keep doing what you need to do. 3nodding

Brandon Taylor minako-hime Wow. Thanks, guys, for being what all of us really want: in love. And SOO much kudos to X's father. Hope you get the others of the family to accept, though. That can create problems later in the marriage (I know.). So hearts to you both for making it this far, and all my support for the future! My mom is starting to come around now, but I don't think my dad ever will. *sad face* My father never would have, either. But he died before I ever got to tell him. [Que Mike and the Mechanics] So at least he has to see the real you. If he doesn't accept it, that simply means he's not willing to open his mind for the sake of a child. I'm sure that when he weighs hurting you against staying in his little box, he'll come around. Besides, you're proving him wrong every moment by loving who you love and not being ashamed of it. Keep at it!

I'm pretty sure my dad's never coming around. It'll be a cold day in hell before he acknowladges his gay son. But we're not going to focus on the negative, my mom came to visit.
