Yeahyeah, early Oct. and I'm saying this. But it's not school in general, it's Computer Graphics & Photography class.
Our teacher's giving us SHADING exercises STILL. And it's not even "Let's shade with Photoshop", it's "SHADE WITH PENCIL OR DIE." GAWD. I signed up for COMPUTER GRAPHICS CLASS, not "Shading Class" SHEESH. And I loose points on the shading assignments because "OMG IT'S NOT FULLY SMOOTH-LIKE. -50 BILLION." Gawd, I shouldn't be having to do this pile of crap, I'm NOT in Art class, I'm in CG class. I KNOW how to shade. SHEESH, she's SEEN my CG artwork. I showed her a peice TODAY. Does she not get that I know what I'm doing and don't need shading exercises. I KNOW how to work with Light Sources, I KNOW how to shade simple shapes, I know about color contrast, I know about all that color shiz, and I KNOW how to shade, prolly better then any of the other kids in there. It's rediculous. I'd like to get past these exercises nowz. Honestly, I DON'T NEED TO SHADE A SPHERE 15 TIMES BY HAND. GAWD. Nothing that is even remotly sphere shaped is even shadded like that half the time. Gosh. And same for cones and cubes and cylinders. They all are rarely ever shaded that way, unless it's, like, kiddie blocks and stuff. Everything isn't a perfect circle or a perfect cone.
... That reminds me of my Art teacher in Middle School. She said EVERYTHING man-made was squares and needed a ruler. LIKE HELLZ YEAHRIGHT. What about a garbage can, a pencil, those japanese circle-shaped lanturns, A SPHERE FOR GAWD'S SAKE. Not everything man-made is a rectangle. Not even all BUILDINGS are rectangles anymore. *facepalm* Ohyeah, and my fine art teacher freshie year said she can TEACH you how to draw a straight line without a ruler, LIKE HELLZ YEAHRIGHT. It's not even really possible WITH a ruler. Because it's not always a perfectly straight line, and sometimes your finger's in the way of the line and stuff like that.
DO THE TEACHERS NOT GET IT? I NEED TO BE CREATIVE AND NOT CONFINED TO STUPID SHADING EXERCISES OR DRAWING STRAIGHT LINES. I R SPAZTIC. It makes like FUN. And Boring life = boring person = PHAIL. SO overall, this class sucks butt right now, and I'm bored out of my mind. It wouldn't be as bad if, ya' know, I could do what we're SUPOSED to be doing, as in MAKING COMPUTER GRAPHICS. OR TAKING PHOTOS. BUT NOOOOO. We have to learn to shade and color contrast and crap first. Bull. I wish I could just bump up to CG2 and keep the same class period for it, I like my other classes. I WANNA DRAW WITH A TABBIELET IN THE MORNING. NOT SHADE CRAP IN 20 MINUTES AND THEN FALL ASLEEP ALMOST.

AND THIS IS WHY I JOINED THE CREATE/ART CLUB AT MY SCHOOL. Becuz they let me do whatever for, like, 2 hours after school on wednesdays. <33333
