My kid, Aidan, just took his first steps today. He's 5 days away from being a year old! He took 3 steps! As soon as I saw him do it I burst out in tears... he's not my little baby anymore... crying
When did your kid take his/her first steps? Where? Did s/he take just one or multiple steps? Were you there coaxing him/her or did s/he just do it by herself?

Eden took hers when she was 9-11 months. I think it was 9, not sure. I started walking when I was over a year old, but I was talking a bunch before I started walking.
