I used to quite like school, apart from the bullying. I left full time education 4 years ago at the age of 19 (did an extra year at Sixth Form to get my other A Level), and I now attend night school Spanish (and Japanese in 2004/05. And Turkish in 2005/06! And I started a Greek course in 2005 but quit after one term because the tutor was rubbish. I would finish the work at home and do extra bits, so I'd have done the work for the next lesson already. I would then be thoroughly bored for at least 1.5 hrs of the lesson because she hadn't planned anything else... So I'm good at languages! So what!? biggrin xd ). I've had two lessons so far.

I didn't like school the first time around, and I don't like it now. I don't care if the govt. is paying for the tuition & books, I'd rather have my job back. gonk sad

I wish I could go back to school, but after getting a PhD there really isn't all that much further I can go, education-wise. As much as I hated school, I do miss being a career student. Working (especially when your boss is a complete and utter moron) sucks.

Uggh I agree, I chose some pretty hard subjects which means the workload is INSAAAAANE...
Maths B takes a lot of work, I get a lot of Cs becasue to get a B... too much effort required sweatdrop
Chem and Physics and Biol... well we get a lot of EEI's (extended experimental investigations) which are SO much work it's just crazy. And physics exams... physics has got to be the hardest subject ever...
IPT is ok, the exams are still kinda crappy though because you don't know what you'll be tested on really.
well... it can be fun sometimes, especially if you're learning about stuff you're interested in, but mostly its a pain in the a**. Too much work and stress, too little free time!

I hate school as well. My LA teacher, complete and utter idiot. She asks me what the definitions of words are when she herself doesn't know them (she didn't know what hypocrite meant after giving us a whole damn assignment surrounding it!)! It's bloody murder, especially since she's gonna screw me for next year.
Also I got my screwdriver taken away for two whole days because some b***h saw it in my pocket. D<

She asks me what the definitions of words are when she herself doesn't know them (she didn't know what hypocrite meant after giving us a whole damn assignment surrounding it!)! Also I got my screwdriver taken away for two whole days because some b***h saw it in my pocket. D< Whaaaat? what kind of a school is this? scream I mean, mp3 players, mobile phones, sure, but why the hell would someone dob you in / confiscate a sonic screwdriver?!?? Especially the ones that double as pens. I'm lucky that my school isn't very strict (hey we even don't have a uniform- though a 'dress code' which gets kind of annoying...) but really. You poor thing. *hugs*

I hated school with a firey vengence, mostly because of the people there. At any one time I don't think there were more than about ten people I didn't think of as absolute tossers. Needless to say, the whole experience was a somewhat bitter one.
College was a big improvement, even if it did tend to be kind of dull and my class was full of moronic jerks. As for university, that I'm currently enjoying quite a bit for the most part.

i hate school sooooooo much!!! i go to a really bad public school, the other week one of our teachers stormed out of class and refused to teach us, and the same day me and my friend almost got hit by multiple flying chairs (thrown at the teacher of course) oh and last year me and my friend also wittnessed the oval being set on fire (and i mean on fire burning_eyes ) i especialy hate my maths teacher, she cant teach, she exited people for writing on paper, puting up their hand up to ask a question, and coughing. and not to metion all the bitches at my school GGRRR I HATE SCHOOL *calms down* *talks to self* its ok only 4 more years

AHHHHHHHHH exam block right now actually, it's madness!! (SPARTA......)
I had english and IPT on monday, those exams were OK... then I had maths core and extension today, and I'm pretty sure I got every question wrong on the extension...
And then thursday I have physics and those exams are always incredibly hard.
But hey, when it's all over, it's even better.
Anyone else undergoing the dreaded exams at the moment?
