My band(Brookside)is known i guess as a festival band. Most recently we went to a competational marching band show(Amherst). I quickly noticed the difference in our marching styles. It was very interesting, can some one perhaps from a competition style band describe to me their routine and how things are done differently. My director tried to explain it but i think it would be better to hear it from a person directly involved in one of those bands.
