Pentagram is one of the earliest Doom bands around, having been around in one form or another since the early 70s, it's safe to say that Pentagram had a big impact on Sabbath inspired Doom-metal that was to follow over the next decade. The band also strongly intertwines with the band Bedemon and is sometimes seen as one and the same. Pentagram are considered to be one of the all time classics by many older fans for understandable reasons. Their music can perhaps best be described as "proto-Doom" with a strong resemblance to the first Black Sabbath releases. The unique vocals of Bobby Leibling make sure they have a very unique sound. Miraculously the band is still around to this day!
I've been really getting into them more lately. I'd say that Pentagram (or Relentless) is my favorite album.
Some fav. songs are Sign of the Wolf, Forever My Queen, All Your Sins, When the Screams Come, Be Forewarned.

The War Starter I honestly haven't listened to this band much even though I have a couple of albums. I did the same thing I kept overlooking them and then I gave them a better listen and loved it.

Be Forwarned and Turned To Stone are two great albums.

I've been listening to this band a lot more now that I have their Day of Reckoning album. "When The Screams Come" is a pretty sweet song!

The War Starter I've been listening to this band a lot more now that I have their Day of Reckoning album. "When The Screams Come" is a pretty sweet song! That riff is really fun to play too. I still like Relentless the most. Though I have been listening to Be Forewarned more lately.

Gravechylde Thermonuclear Warrior One of my favorite Doom metal bands. Some of my favorite songs are Lazylady, Vampyre Love, and Wartime. great songs, they have a lot of good ones to choose from. Indeed they do. I've been addicted to these guys the past couple of days for no reason xd
