Steve Harris (Iron maiden) My list is the same but 1.John Myung is first because of some videos i saw of him on bass smile Then you have 2.Steve Digiorgio, 3.Alex Webster, 4.Steve Harris, and probably 5.Cliff Burton. But I play Guitar more than I play Bass, so I just go by what I hear through my Guitar ears smile Overall nice list, all good bassists indeed. And about Necrophagist's bassist, I saw them in ATL last year and although i sprained my ankle like an hour into the show before Necrophagist had even gone onstage, he performed a solo which turned into a duet with the drummer which made me stand up on my hurt foot without even remembering the pain and swelling going on. Really amazing band to see live, then again most popular Tech Death is.

Pretty good, but there's also Justin Chancellor, Christian Olde Wolbers, Billy Gould, David Ellefson, Frank Bello, Tom Araya, Troy Sanders, Dino Cazares (when he is playing bass), Alex Webster, Glenn Benton, Robert Trujillo, Fieldy, Paulo. Jr., Doug Pinnick, and Shavo Odadjian... Woooow, too many gifted players
