Chiriko lay in the branches of a tall tree. His tail swung lazily over the side as he lay on his back on the sturdy branch. He had been thinking alot lately of Kirara and Grant. It had been so long, so many months since he had seen either of them. A tear rolled down his furry cheeks at the thought but he wiped it away swiftly with the back of his front paw. He had a feeling that he would see Kirara again.

Kirara sat in her tree. Looking out into the forest slowly she had been getting better. She has been spending more and more time out of her tree.
The ‘thing’ had made only one more attack at the tree. Lucky for them they where well hidden. She watched her son as he gathered berries and leafs. She worried about him now. He was almost lonely now that they female disappeared.
Kirara looked up to the sky longing for her lost love. What happened to him she wondered. Did he go after the ‘thing’ was he alive or dead? Does he know that she still loves him?
I forgot all about this sorry))

(( No problem! xD I did too! ))
Chiriko sighed and rolled onto his front, looking down at the forest floor. His tail twitched slightly as he thought. He wondred where it had all gone wrong, he wondered why he had never seen his mate or his child since such a long time ago. The only reason he could come up with was that their lives had taken seperate paths.
He suddenly sat upright. He was sure he had scented them on the breeze. Or was it just his imagination? The male cat opened his torn butterfly wings and jumped from the branch he had been laying on. His wings didn't let him fly but he could use them to make landing a little easier. "Kirara?" He shouted aloud, uncertain that he had alctually scented anything.

Kirara heard the voice of her long lost love being carried by the wind. it was not the first time she had heard his voice all the time. in her dreams in her wake. just about any time she thought of him.
but this time there was something more to it. she wanted to race to the ground to look for her love. but she had done it so many times before each time she had only been sadded when he was no where to be found.
"Chiriko" she called back as tears fell from her eyes.

Chiriko's ears twitched. He was certain that he had heard Kirara's sweet voice. She was calling for him. The butterfly cat's heart was beating so fast, so loud, he was sure the whole forest would be able to hear him.
With no more hesitation, Chiriko followed where the sound had come from. And sure enough, he caught sight of his love beneath a tree. He was overjoyed to see her. "I knew it was you, Kirara. How much I've missed you." He purred.
Chiriko pulled the twin tailed fluffy cat close with his paws and swung her around in a hug before letting her go with a smile.
