Just finished the series tonight after taking me so long to get back to it. Two words. Holy s**t. This has skyrocket among my 2nd favorite anime, only falling behind Death Note. It has a great underdog story which I love, the comedy it has is very similar to Naruto and One Piece. The fights start off slow with him only fighting jobbers, but soon elevate to a suspense that rivals Death Note and action that is equal to the Shonen Jump anime. Being a boxing fan I know a lot is exaggerated, but being an anime fan it just simply adds to the intensity. Memorable characters and ending the series at 70 episodes, while the manga is still going strong. Though I might be the only one in this guild who might have an interest in sports, I still recommend this anime to anyone who has the time to give it a chance. Trust me this isn't any Prince of Tennis bullshit.

I hate sports.. so that would probably get in the way... but then again... I like Crimson Hero. xd So I guess I can't say much. I may check it out.
Oh, but Death Note... whee How far are you? And in what form? (Manga, Anime, Live Action)
Me -- I'm not far in the Anime, but I'm in the third to the last volume of the Manga, and I watched the Live Action. heart I REALLY like the Live Action... it's not like other Live Actions...

The most recent anime I've seen that I really liked was Saiyuki, but that was just the first and second season. I still have yet to see Reload and Gunlock... sweatdrop

I finished the anime, but haven't read the manga or seen the live action films. Manga is actually pretty low on my list since I heard the anime stayed pretty true to the manga. The mangas I plan on reading on is Hajime no Ippo, Gantz, and Basterd. But I'm going to start fresh on Gantz.

Gantz Manga FTW! eek
But yeah... from what I understand, the Anime does stay pretty true to the Manga. However, the Live Action is REALLY different... but REALLY good too. whee It cuts out early. You don't ever meet Near or Mello. But Raye Penbar's fiance has a much more important role.

New anime just came out on dvd from the creators of blue *** (whatever) the psychological thriller where the pop star thinks she is going insane and then finds out that her friend has gone nuts and thinks she is the pop star.
not blue seed, blue gender........ ah now I remember, Perfect Blue same producers and production staff, haven't got it yet, but it looks sweet! It's about a terrorist who steals a machine that is used for dream therapy then uses it to freak people out while they sleep.
