Does anyone know if this tongue-in-cheek tone is going to continue for the rest of the series? Or was it just this episode that they went nuts with the innuendo?

Well judging by the trailer for this week (or maybe later in the series): [ps - spoiler!] "It's all over. Let's have sex." "And I thought the end of the world couldn't get any worse." and "It's all sex sex sex with you people!" I think it's gonna carry on! It's more like the novelisations this way too...

Anyone in the UK - get onto www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer and search for torchwood now - they've accidentally put up next weeks episode (Reset) as well as this weeks (Adam) and OH MY GOD.....
I'll not say anything other than yay at the start, oh and eek
I don't know how long it'll be up before they realise so be quick!

My parents annoy me when it comes to Torchwood. They get really weird when I try and watch it. I sort of bothers me.

what do you mean if the tongue-in-cheek humor will continue? that's the whole premise of Torchwood, at least in my opinion. Sex and Violence: just what the viewing public wants.
oh, and a new favorite quote:
"So, have you ever eaten alien meat before?"
"Well... the alien seemed to like it..."

goddess velya whispering muffin iamnotatree whispering muffin yeah the cooliest bits are when Jack mentions the Doctor or something related to him. there was a lot of that in the 1st episode mrgreen OMG I totally love your quote. I liked the part where Lauren was like "Did you park the tardis on a meter?" hahaha XD "you know your house?" "what?" "you know your house right?" "ya?" The Master and Lucy I wish it'd come onto Sci-Fi but they're too busy airing stupid shows like *says with disgust* Flash Gordon. Indeed, but I get BBC so it's all good for me XD
the only slightly amusing thing about Flash.. aside from the chance to make fun of there horrid acting skills is that horrid theme music!

Aways, speaking of Torchwood, I watched part of Smallvile sometime last week and I could of swarn they stole part of the Torchwood music, and then decided to play it at *every* dramatic moment... it was insane.
And made me want to watch something far better like the show they took the music from XD

And I saw Smallville a while ago (my dad is a big fan) and Brainiac is played by none other than Captain John. xDD It was so weird..
Braniac has this very pale-grey skin tone and speaks really low with a pure American accent..
John Harper is colourful, flamboyant, show-y, and has a British accent. xD
