Have one CD of them a friend gave me. "Puritanical euphiric misanthorpia".
I can`t listen to them too long, but from time to time I have my "Dimmu hour" and like to hear the first 4 songs. I have not heard any of their other work, but yes these 4 songs are pretty good. Same goes for the CD of Amorphis: "Tale of the thousand lakes". From time to time I love hearing them, but then after a few hours I don`t hear them again until in a few months.

I've never been particularly blown away by Dimmu Borgir. While they've had a few very solid albums, most of what they put out I find to be totally unimpressive. Not pure enough to rank alongside black-metal staple Emperor, nor experimental enough to carve out their own following like Aborym. Not a bad group at all, just not all too unique in my eyes.

I am a sucker for symphonic black metal, so I list Dimmu Borgir as one of my top five bands of all time.
Enthrone Darkness Triumphant is my favorite album by them, just when they'd started to incorporate symphonic elements. However, I also like the songs Sorgens Kammer and Antikrist, both from Stormblåst.

yah they really do rock. allthough i think there are better bands.. but still they'r on my top 10.

Ah, Dimmu is wicked, the only problem with them i have is their live stuff, but i have the same problem with Kataklysm.

I like them. I saw them live at Ozzfest 2004. Their performance there was what got me into them in the first place.
