It was amazing, what the female body could endure and accomplish. The feathered mother laid content as the kits fed, her paw massaging their backs. One ears flicked back, brushing against Dark's face. "Nothing to mind yet. You?"
Still hungry, the girl ignored the odd burp beside her. Tails wagging happily in a messy bunch, she too became full. Peek over here, peek over there. Even without sight, she was still in awe to the sounds and smells around her.

"I've never been very good with names" he admitted, then licking the ear that was in his face. He would have to think about that one for awhile. But for now.. he could just call them girl #1 an girl #2 or something. Either way, he was sure they would come up with names eventually.
The grey girl seemed content to sleep, and did just that... little purrs coming from her in her content happiness as she fell into slumber.

Hmmm. Normally names came along easily, but these two were so....unique. She'd have to think on it. If her mate had said girl #1 or #2 aloud, she woulda smacked him. XD Grinning, she watched as the grey daughter fell asleep like a small kitten. The other girl, with tails a messy display, wriggled about still. Apparently it had some more energy to burn. Or curiousity.

They were unique... so very different looking. He peeked over at the two girls thoughtfully... getting a better look at the one that was now sleeping as well. "She's got your cloud pattern" he observed, wondering if perhaps they could incorporate that into the name somehow. Clouds and feathers... those are easily associated. Hm.

So, clouds did pass on as well. The mother just smiled contently, flicking her mate with one of her tails. "And she has your paws." A glance was given to the other female, who was just now curling to sleep. "Funny, how they recieved feathers in opposite spots." It would be difficult to name this bunch; at least for her.

"It would seem so" he agreed, although Darkfeather didn't have feathers on his paws... the one girl's paws were indeed fluffy like his. He smirked at Setsumi's next comment, flicking her back with one of his tails. "Indeed... but the feathers on both of them are quite numerous." He wondered if naming one of the girls after himself would seem somewhat... arrogant. "Perhaps we should name the one, Cloud."

Numerous could be an understatement for those two. It looked as if they maimed a bird and stole its pelt. Green eyes peeked back to Darkfeather. "Cloud? That's sweet." Well, at least for the one with actual clouds on her pelt. It would match too well with the other daughter. "Heh, it's your call. I think she looks like a gizmo though with that crest." It was so punky, she couldn't help but giggle.

Darkfeather smirked at his mate, "Yes... well I don't think Gizmo would be a very dignified name. She'd probably kill us for it later on. But you do have a point... CloudFeather could work." Cause you know.. she's got clouds on her.. and a whole heck of a lot of feathers. It was rather similar to his name as well.

Cloudfeather? That could work. She hoped the girl wouldn't mind a long name so similiar to anothers. "It's too cute." Much better than Gizmo, she had to agree. Green eyes turned slowly to their other daughter. She liked names that had a certain sound to them. Almost foreign, but still nice to hear. "I'm thinking....Miu. Miulani." If her memory served her right of its meaning.

Well if it was too long for her.. they could just call her Cloud... and they might anyway. Others often liked to shorten his name to Dark... or DF, so it wouldn't surprise him any. Brows lifted at the name that Setsumi gave for the other girl. Miulani huh? The crested male hmmed and nodded, for it was agreeable, "Its a good name. Does it have any sort of meaning?"

Heh, too true. Setsumi was already used to calling the winged male Dark. But it suited him in a good way. Cloudfeather it is. The mother sat up halfway, making sure not to disturb the sleeping bundles. Green eyes peeked out the window, judging what time of day it was. "I remember that sound, and it was associated with heaven. And one book I had read long ago mentioned feathers, but in the word Lani." But with her luck, she probably mistaken it for dustfeather. ^_^;
