Hi there, i'm 22 from So Cal. I'm glad i found this quild because lately with gaia, i've felt kind of 'old' (granted i'm again only 22), the topic came up about whats one of the first movies you remember seeing in theatres (yeah, i don't know how i ended up on that topic sweatdrop ) but anyways mine happened to be the original 'The Land Before Time'...needless to say, i got a lot of Wows, the only other older person said nightmare on Elm Street! HA! so that's my story. A little about me; I work full time on a college campus, my hobbies include going mini-golfing, bowling, hanging out at disneyland (which i've been doing a lot lately and getting sick of lol), seeing movies, reading, and taking care of my boy Max (who's a cat btw lol). So i'd like to make a few gaia friends of my age. thanks for the quild again! [wow long intro lol sweatdrop ]

It's unreal what these kids believe is "old" for them anything over 17 is ancient.
Thankfully this is a wonderful guild full of people who have lives, real lives. I think the fact we are all busy outside of gaia accounts for why its so friendly here- no one has the time or energy to pick fights!
Definitely glad to have you aboard. One of my first movies was the Little Mermaid, but I know it wasn't the first. What kind of cat is Max?

Not sure i adopted him from an animal shelter and they were stumped! His mom (Pepper) is beautiful, she's completely grey all over even her nose and she has blue green eyes (my grandparents adopted his mom after i told them that unless she found a home they'd put her to sleep), he's certainly unique! I call him my lil great white cause of his coloring, the pic is just a side shot, but underneath him is all white and no where else.

well, he's an adoreable cat. i have a cat myself named nutmeg. he's half siamese, half tabby. he's got the coolest markings imagineable. pics to come as soon as i get a working camera blaugh

So friggin' adorable! My heart just melted.
And to Super Buick- a Tabby meets a Siamese, what kind of temperment (sp?) would that pairing make? Tabbies in my experience are massively playful, smart, affectionate little creatures who adore being the center of attention (or so far the ones I've encountered). I've heard Siamese can be... well they aren't cats for novices.
I'm imagining a super smart cat that wound up with borderline personality disorder because it can't decide if it loves you or hates you.

First movie in a theater I saw I believe was either "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" or "Howard the Duck". They came out a number of years apart so really I might have jus tblocked the memory of the duck out of my mind.
Kind of weird how a whole generation of kids don't know what "Saved By The Bell" is. The world is falling apart.
