I live in Japan. Earlier this morning I found a dog, the dog followed me home. I can't keep her. So What i'm asking is, how do you say:
''Is this your dog?"

   kore wa anata no inu desu ka? (KO-RAY WA ANATA NO E-NEW Des KA) The "u" in Desu is silent It's pronounced exactly how it sounds It might be slightly off, but most people will understand what you're trying to say, haha. My grammar is super bad. :3

In the courtyard, birds singingAww tell us when you find the owner. That's really nice what you're doing. :3 Through the window, bells ringing

Grin Evilly says: I hope you find the owner of the dog.
And good luck with your Japanese. ;-; Sadly, I don't know any, but Zephyr's Japanese looks reliable. 3nodding <33

I think Zephyr's right on target, though my grammar in japanese is also very bad so I can't say if it's exactly right or not. XD But like she said, they'll get what you're trying to say, so it works. Though remember that a Japanese 'r' is sort of a combo of r and l, so don't pronounce a hard 'r' in 'kore'.
Breakdown of the words, as I dunno exactly how much Japanese you know and if it would be helpful at all:
Kore - I'm not exactly certain; my vocab sort of doesn't cosist of many USEFUL words. XD I think it's an indicator, like 'this'. wa - Be/Is Anata - You No - Of/'s. Used after the word it goes with, so 'anata no' would essentially be 'your'. Inu - Dog Desu - A very useful, general catch-all verb, which is more or less used for something that 'is'. Ka - Added to make a statement a question.

I'm teaching myself Japanese and it's pretty easy, except on the really long words and the grammar... ._.; But in Spanish class, I'm immediately catching on to s**t.
Anyway! Good luck with finding the owner! n_n;
