Holla, homie pengs, this is Bella's fashion thread. Rate, add, suggest, help, anything! As long as it's fashion! Here are some of my latest trendy dos and don'ts.
Do:Skinny Jeans

These are sassy, sexy and hot! You can't go wrong with skinny jeans! If you are more curvy, these would be filed under Don't.
Don't:Leggings

These hideos footless tights are terrible! They are so last season-and if your going aerobics, try leg warmers! See the next Do.
Do:Leg Warmers

Oh, they're so fabulous, now we're not talking big fuzzy things-we're thinking more, IDK, slinky, soft delicuit or suttle patterned.
Fauney Says: "Layer those babies with socks or tights."
Don't:Burmudas

As much as you don't beleive it-I was walking through Rue 21 and all burmudas were on sale for $1 each-what do you know girls? Time to move on! Besides-they make your legs look SO short! Long legs are in! See skinny jeans under Do.
Do:Layered Tanks

Especially ones that fall from your body or have a high seam line-above the boob.
Do:Elegant Asian Themed Jackets

This is from Negative Polarity.
This particular shape is very figure flattering-but paired with the soft, yet bold asain print, this jacket is WAY more than perfect!
Hope you enjoyed and benefitted form my tips!

Um. Some stuff like leggings, look exceptional on some people. It depends on the body type.
I'm a little chubby/curvy/I have hips and I wear skinny jeans and I get complimented all the time. :/ Currently, legwarmers are kind of in style [but with shoes like that they're hideous and not flattering], and especially in the J-fashion, Decora. Layer those babies with socks or tights.
And and those shirts with the seam line above the boob tend to make slightly heavier girls look ...shapeless. Like me. I look barrel-esque.

Yes, but leggings are very last season-not to sound diva. They're just so out.
Skinny jeans don't look good on girls who have big calves. I could find a million girls that are curvy that look fabulous in skinny jeans.
Again, I am built like a stick. The seam line above the boob is very flattered-a fabulous alteration for top heavy girls would be a seam just under the boob with a bubble style bottom half-it'd be tighter at the hips and flow out from the chest. This acctualy accents a lot of curvy girl's shapes.

True. I sometimes wear leggings, though. Only the super bright ones because I basically have the fashion sense of a rainbow. I just don't like the ones that go all the way to your ankles. Eww. x3
I like the shirts with the cut under the bosom, but sometimes it's too revealing. layering those lacey tanktops with t-shirts is instyle and can be very cute with jeans and even a dressier shoe; of course tennis shoes would work just fine.
Also, if I may dwell into hair-- I personally think all the clones with stick-straight hair look weird. I sometimes straighten mine, but I like to let it curl naturally, too. Or use a curling iron. Straight hair is just getting boring to me. :/ On some people, it looks nice, but on others curly/wavy hair just looks best.

It's practically impossible for me to find straight-leg jeans that fit over my ghetto booty and huge hips. (I'm shaped almost exactly like Shakira.) XD So they're totally out for me most of the time; I wear stretch flares that are nicely fitted up top, then flare out lower to balance width. Helps that my feet are huge. XD
Layered tanks are cute, though I've never gotten into it. I'm a spaghetti-strap tank and hoodie kind of girl.
Leggings are so cute on some girls, and on others it's a ' gonk ' moment. Same with leg warmers. The slinky ones are much better than the larger ones. Knee length shorts make me look even shorter than I am. XD
I'm hoping for 90s fashion to come back in style soon. Everything was so durable and sporty but still gorgeous at the same time. I want duster/trench coats back in, too.
As for other fahion contributions, I would like to post a picture! I'm getting a custom-made Chinese coat very much like this:

Asian stuff is so pretty, though I'm leaning more towards elegant asian style recently than the cute J-Popish stuff.

That's mostly what I was getting at, but they had other pictures that cut into it so I just left the other ones in-considering that those outfits were hideous too!
They are sometimes, but I don't like wearing lacey tanks, instead I use a nuetral one under a nuetral top like that and some chunk jewelry. It brings the attention away from clevage. Perhaps orange and brown or even browns with turquiose necklaces?
I DO love the tank-over-shirt thing, it almost always looks good. I like them with big bags and pointy toes-can you say runway?
My hair is natural straight and I hate it! It does look odd, but i always put mine into styles that usually only look good with straight. Like piggy-buns, hang-low pig tails, puff ponies, braid-tails and toddler-tail. I can explain these if you want...

Asian stuff is so pretty, though I'm leaning more towards elegant asian style recently than the cute J-Popish stuff. Well, if you can find a pair that fit the waist and hip nicely, you can roll them up and wear them with some strappy sandals and sunglasses-talk about summer style! cool As for stretch flares, I DO love, mostly with smaller bottoms and some little tennis shoes. I also like just plain fitted denim, my fave pair are really dark wash with gold-brown fading and "stretch" detail.
Mmm, I wear alot of layered tanks, although I would LOVE to find a good sweat shirt or 2, I never seem to find a fitted pull-over-damn my curvless body!
Lawl-leggings look good on me, I just never make them look good. They're very difficult to master. I love leg warmers-deffinentaly not the big ones, I like slinky one's with sock-like frill detail. Specially over bright tights. And for burmuda shorts-I just think they are ick. They make you look short and plump and they are very awkward-perhaps some capris or long dress shorts instead? Speaking of those, I am REALLY starting to like those dress shorts-they're sleek and sophistocated.
90s was very simple. With perhaps a mod twist, it'd look better. The tall waisted jeans give you front butt-but maybe some straight legged low rise with a fitted tee and funky glasses would send us back an era?
That's a beautiful jacket! I will add that!

The tall waisted jeans give you front butt-but maybe some straight legged low rise with a fitted tee and funky glasses would send us back an era? That's a beautiful jacket! I will add that! That would be pretty cute, but I have very muscular calves, so fitted capris look terrible on me (wide leg capris look cute, though.) The flare jeans I have are little flares, not the enormous ones, so they're subtle but cute at the same time. :3 Ooh, those jeans sound pretty. Mine are medium blue with gold-brown tribalish patterns. You might look in stores like Deb; they have a lot of fitted hoodies in right now. Hoodies are frickin' cute no matter what style, really. The one I have on right now is tunic length, with some little draw string thingys at the waist you can pull a bit so you get definition rather than looking like a box. I have so many hoodies, though, all in different cuts and colors. I love them~ Are you talking about the shorts that have a skirt over them, so it looks like a skirt but they're still like shorts underneath? I had some of those when I was younger, and they were nice; I could do all the climbing and jumping and stuff that I wanted to without having to worry. Hence why I don't wear skirts; I hate having to think constantly about how it's positioned while I'm being tomboyish. XD Yeah, I liked the kind of 'ready for anything' practicality of the 90s. It was very no-frills. In the late 90s we had those cute low-rise jeans that were low but not outrageously so, and lots of hoodies and windbreakers over tank tops. I liked that style; it's what I wear now, mostly. I love that coat. heart That particular one 9and the one I'm having made) are actually full length coats; ankle or mid calf length, depending. You can get them in jacket length though too, and with or without sleeves. So cute. heart Mine's being made in China actually; my mom's friend travels there on business all the time (he bought me a Doir handbag, too. China's awesome. XD)

Yeah, I like to wear my skinny jeans folded up at the bottoms a. because I'm so incredibly short that most of my jeans are very long, and b. because it looks kind of cute with the right shoes. Stretch jeans and regular denim is fab, too. Really stretchy jeans aways seem to over-define my shakira a**, though, so I have to wear long shirts with them sometimes.
I absolutely hate those jeans with no pockets on the bottoms. They make your butt look absolutely huge, and strange.
As for bermudas, I think they can be rather flattering on the right people. I wear them sometimes, but not those icky plaid ones. Just simple jean ones with a bright t-shirt and maybe flip flops and big sunglasses and a bag, etc.
Hoodies are amazing things, really. I like the ones Delia's carries, with the piano keys and stuff. Very very cute for anyone.

Mmm, fabulous-the tennis shoes I always wear are white with silver side details and bright white laces-they make my feet look tiny! Thanks-yours sound really cute too!
I always look around Deb but everything seems a bit big and the sleeves are usually too long-as dorky as this sounds-I goto WalMart and get my pull overs there! I have an adorable Tinkerbell one that fits really well. Mmm, so cute!!!
Skorts? I had a few-passed them down to a buddy. They were awsome. Lawl-I always have dances going on where I wear skirts and they're annoying so I am thinking about getting a new plaid skort.. But acctually I was talking about this pair of high-ish waisted shorts that are cuffed over and pin-striped with HUGE pockets-it was so cuuuute.
Mhm-very go-fight-wind style. I loved their high tops. I like getting really printy ones and wearing them with their tops folded over along with knee-socks or skinny jeans-so cuuuute!!!!
Mmm, sounds very chic-professional. I'd like one with a bit of a brighter pattern-perhaps orange, purple and gold? Awsomes for you! Dior rox my sox and china does rock!

Hmm, I might try capris of that length. I suppose if they're exactly the right length they might highlight the muscle instead of just making it look huge and ugly. XD Oh, those shoes sound pretty! I haven't worn low-top tennis shoes in a long time; I have some black boots I love, or I wear high-tops.
Hehe, I shop at Walmart too. Walmart doesn't get enough love. XD
Skorts are probably the closest I'll get to a real skirt. XD I mean, I wear real skirts every so often, but not really by choice. More like when I have to dress up or don't have any pants clean. XD Oooh, I think I know what you're talking about. Those are pretty cute.
Yep. I hear someone once joke that everything in the 90s was 'EXTREEEEEME!' and I think that applies to the fashion, too. XD Ready for anything, rough-and-tumble.
I'd been looking at pretty Chinese brocade silks at fabric stores; they have so many pretty patterns, including brighter ones. :3 I want to make a bunch of coats in different designs and colors. I have a pink and gold Chinese jacket I bought at a fair once; it's very pretty.
I'm getting really into the look that Lana Lang on Smallville was wearing throughout the 6th season of the show. Particularly, a black peacoat, black dress pants, and simple black pumps with her hair all pulled up and clipped. She looks so elegant and mature.

I know what you mean! Walmart needs the loooove.
xD Yae, I LOVE those shorts, so chic....so dressy. o.O
Exactly! They looked very aroebic and thin, I envy them and their sporty attributes. ;_;
I really love those chinese inspired patterns on fabrics, especially the really shiny, eye-catching ones with those interesting clasps. Ooo, that's sounds so pretty!
Oh, wow, yes, she does look VERY elegant. Acctually simple and professional too. I think that'd sound pretty with a lacey, champainge colored tank!
