That shined the brightest”
So sang the people of Annanova. All of the people.
To the south lied Annamira, the home of the witches. Witches nowadays were so rare, and so hated. So hated by the elves. However, every now and then, there would be witches and wizards, but they would only be mere children. Abandoned by their families for their misfortunes of having the impure powers, a glimmer of light shown for them.
That light was Mother Aurora, the supposedly greatest witch of them all. She took in all the children, the cursed and the gifted, and taught them all she knew about witchcraft. The children lived with her in The Towers, as they were called. Little did they know a peace treaty was formed with the elves of Fallmead. A treaty that set the future for them.
Fallmead was to the north, past Ritalk Forest, in a castle completely surrounded by purified forests. Elves were also trained in magical arts, but were trained in it for war. Mother Sherree reigned over all in Fallmead, and she led well…in war, that is. Mercilessly taking control of The Skies, a beautiful path in the sky to the ends of Annanova, she sought to take control over all of all Annanova. The only things in this beautiful and merciless rulers path: Annamira and Ritalk Forest.
Mother Aurora would never allow her fortress to be governed by such an unreasonable descendant of royalty, but she didn’t have any fear. For the forest of Ritalk was right in the middle of the two kingdoms. The forest that was home to the vampires of Annanova.
The vampires never had much say in what happened in this world, but they kept to themselves. Led by King Austa, the vampires worked to build their kingdom right under the elves noses. Finally, after the king’s wife’s death recently, he announced that he had a son. The son, Yomi, would someday crush both kingdoms, and take over Annanova as his kingdom. All he had to do was wait…
While the three kingdoms grew in their powers, Mother Aurora continued to prepare her students for the worst.
So begins the tale of Roberta Ghastghoul and her friends…
