Lethrossen
He just continued to smile at her and move toward the river. It was a quiet, slow walk. They were moving through the tall grasses, and up ahead he could see the fireflies. "Oh, the fire-bugs are out... my parents love them." He murmered. Kenai liked them because it was like a part of the sky was trying to stay connected to the earth always, through the bugs.

Shariea
Ayo smiled softly as she walked along beside him, catching glimps of the fire flies buzzing around she hunched down and smiled. "I bet you I can catch one." she said smirking. Her tail flicked softly behind her, rustling the grass behind her.

Lethrossen
Kenai laughed and slowly crouched down too. "Oh? I bet you I could catch one faster, missy." He murmered out in playful jest. "What do I win if I can catch one before you?" He raised his brows and laughed. "And what do you get if I lose?"

Shariea
Ayo chuckled and raised her brow, she looked at her compaion with a sly smirk. "You have to eat one if you loose." she said, fighting back laugter. "And that depends, what do you want if you win?" she asked, her tail flicking again against the tall grass. Her golden eyes lightly shifted to the side to look at him, turning away from the dancing fireflies she had been intently watching.

Lethrossen
He blinked and glanced toward her, also chuckling at the terms that were partly set. "Oh!" Well... if he won he really didn't want her to actually eat one, because they tasted kind of gross... he used to play the firefly chasing game with Iso all the time when they were much smaller. What would make a suitable condition for a 'prize' of a sort? "I'm not sure.." He said quietly, watching her with his dark eyes. "Maybe you will just owe me, if I win?" His head tilted to the side, cheeks pink. Was he embaressed about something?

Shariea
Ayo chuckled softly and nodded her head. "Fine... If you win, I will owe you one favor of your wishing. None refundable." she smiled her golden eyes glinting in the moon light. She turned her gaze away from Kenai and hunched down in the grass, her belly touching the ground. "Ready?" she asked him, her eyes set on her pray, lightly blinking in the distance.

Lethrossen
He just chuckled. "Agreed." And with that he moved a bit away from her, also hunched down. "Ready as ever." He said, in a hushed voice because he thought it made things more exciting. So sue him! His tail gave one slow, jerky flick, his eyes narrowed as they slowly followed the blinking lights, trying to figure out which was closest to him.

Shariea
Ayo waited for him to get settled. With a light growl she shouted. "rrGO!" She shot like a rocket into the tall grass her paws extended trying to catch her flying prey. Once it had taken wing she leaped in an attempt to catch it. To her dismay her paws passes scantly inches below it as it sailed away from her grasp. Landing quietly on the ground once more she huffed and looked around quickly for a new target.

Lethrossen
He didn't jet forward as eagerly as she had, but instead crept to the left in a swift, stalking motion and then lunged forward. His teeth clicked down and it took him a moment not to swallow the little bugger. His eyes flicked around and he tried to get Ayo's attention. "Mggrg, mrrf!" He grinned at her and for a breif moment his mouth lit up.

Shariea
Ayo flopped over onto her side and turned her head to look up at him from the ground. Laughing she shook her head and swatted at her bug that was now sailing out of reach. "You win." she said laughing, her tail lightly flicking in the grass.

Lethrossen
He chuckled and then coughed a little, spitting out the bug. It landed on a blade of grass and hung on dearly. He stalked forward and sat down beside her. "I guess I do, so that means you owe me." He laughed, purring slightly. "I love the fireflies." His gaze flickered over the flashing bugs, and slowly toward the sky. "I'd like to think they're a little piece of the sky, come down to visit us."

Shariea
Ayo chuckled softly and nodded her head. "Yes, I suppose I do owe you." she said with a sly smirk. "So have you thought of what you want as a reward?" she asked him. Her gaze fell on the fireflies that buzzed around them like flickering stars. It was a wonderful thought to think that they could really be part of the sky. She smiled, "Ive never much thought about it before.... but thats lovely. "

Lethrossen
He blushed and shook his head softly, blowing at some of the 'mane' that fell into his eyes. "No, I'm just going to keep you in debt." He smirked back at her, shifting from paw to paw. His gaze floated around them and then toward the sky. "I have a lot of alone time on my paws, so... I guess the thoughts just find me. You know?"

Shariea
Ayo childishly stuck her tongue out to him. "I should have installed a time limit on that, But as you wish. I remain in your debt until such a time as you collect." she chuckled and rolled over to paw at yet another fire fly and send it raising up into the sky. "I guess ive just never been one that the spirits or muses gift with such deep thoughts."

Lethrossen
He chuckled and gently pushed her with a large paw. "Bah, you probably would be upset with my wish if you'd give it a time limit!" He gives her a playful grin that fully said he had really thought of something. Though good luck on getting him to spit it out.

His smile slipped a little and he looked thoughtful, toward the sky. His eyes lingered on the moon a moment, it was full and larger than most nights. It almost seemed like it would come, crushing down, at any minute. "I am sure you do not have to be gifted to think such thoughts, and I am sure those thoughts are in you somewhere... It's just a matter of getting to them, yeah?"

Shariea
Ayo watched the look on his face and countered his smile with her own sly smirk. "aaah So then you have thought of something!" she exclaimed while her paws batted at him playfully. She chuckled softly and her tail flicked against the grass. "Well then, I suppose I shall just have to wait in suspence until you finally wish to claim your prize." she added at last, her golden amber eyes settleing on him with that sly smirk on her lips.

"I suppose so." she said. "But the question is how deep are such thoughts barried inside of me, and how hard will it be to get them to spring forth? I still think that you are gifted with a tremendous imagination."

Lethrossen
Kenai just gave a sheepish grin and shook his head slightly. He rolled to his side and breathed in deeply, letting the smell of earth and grass calm him.

"Imagination is no gift, it is a matter of being... free inside of yourself, so to speak. That's what I think, anyways. I don't think such amazing thoughts are buried too deeply within you... after all, you are amazing." At least from what he had seen in his short time with her, he had a feeling she was a very amazing lioness. And he was enjoying the time with her very much.

Shariea
His words amused her, and she chuckled as she rolled on her back to look at the sky. Her tawny fur blending into the grass as if it was part of her. Giving a great sigh she smirked. "Flattery will get you many places in life. Seems you're learning that quickly enough." she said with a light chuckle.

It was kind of him to say such things. Even though they had just met awhile ago, her short time with him and the things he'd shown her in his land made her feel accsepted. It was a feeling she had always secretly longed for. "I have a feeling that you are pretty amazing yourself. After all.... You have an amazing home. "

Lethrossen
He glanced sideways over to her and then shuffled over so he could peer down at her, shaking his head with a slight chuckle. "It isn't flattery, just what I think!" He was actually quite pleased that she thought the same of him... Unless of course she'd just been saying that to 'return the favor' so to speak! That would really give him heavy paws. Though what part of that compliment he did not understand.

Teasingly he said, "Oh, so my home makes me now?" But he grinned down at her, to show that he did not mean this in a mean way. "Well I don't know how amazing I am, I do know I try and live my life the best way I can though.."

Shariea
Ayo chuckled softly, he had a way about him that was refreshing. "Well, You seem to be doing very well for yourself. " She flipped over onto her stomach and her tail flicked softly in the grass. "So, In the morning You'll take me deeper into your land? I do want to see everything there is to see here." she almost added, 'before I move on' but she stopped herself.

A small smile pulled at the corners of her lips, as she realized.... she didnt have any intention of moving on any time soon. She was going to relish this place and make friends as long as she could.

Lethrossen
He grinned and nodded, laying down next to her but not touching her. "Alright, it's a deal. Hopefully we can run into some others too." He yawned. "Probably good to sleep now, though.."

Shariea
Ayo nodded and rested her head on her large paws, her tail still flicking softly in the grass behind her. "alright then, I shall await the dawns light and look forward to the adventures of tomorrow. It was nice meeting you Kenai" she said as she closed her eyes. It was nice to make new friends.

Lethrossen
Kenai smiled and after a short time fell asleep, his breaths large and rythmic. It was nice to feel especially safe, he'd made a good friend in such a little time. He hoped that she liked it here a lot.
