This first one is a song I wrote about an ex-gf. It's mostly about repression. That's what I do when bad things happen. XD

I Bury Her Deeper

The emotions flowing from these strings
Will burn my throat when I sing
But as time goes by
Her memory will wither and die

And she doesn't know
But my life goes on
And as the time passes
I only bury her deeper
And she doesn't know
But I get along fine
Burying her deeper everyday!

This is actually an old poem I wrote while mostly asleep. I just woke up in the middle of the night and wrote it down.

Garden Gate

To the east follow me
To a growing elm wood tree
In the branches lie in wait
Til they crack the garden gate
When their gone creep inside
Til the wild wind will abide
Rest a while by the stair
A lulling sleep will keep you there
Time will creep beyond your dream
Til your worth they do deem
When you wake, leaves in hair,
You'll find the garden gate in disrepair
Jump the fence and cross the land
Til it meets the sea, hand in hand
Greet the tide and greet the gull
There you'll find what they stole.

Untitled #1

Should the light ever fade the darkness will remain
Things that seem reasonable are often insane
What you know as truth often beomes lies
What you think you love you grow to despise
"One thing is true, One thing is right."
The world is more than just black and white.

Untitled #2

I'm running a cricle in my mind.
It's wanted and worn so well.
I'm struggling along just to find,
Someone to tell my tale.

If I should ever stumble or fall
I'll lie upon the dusty earth,
Wondering why I continue it all,
Trying so to prove my worth.

Longing only for the eyes of one
To light upon my soul.
And accept alll I'be said or done.
To love me as a whole.

Looking Glass Children

[This is utter crud but I post it because most likely this is the only place I'll ever be able to do so without being flamed for being retarded. It's very old. I wrote it in my early teen years. And it was from the stand point of a Goth but I figure it probably works just as well with Emos as they also got overrun by clones and fad chasers when it gained popularity. I was also very obsesed with Alice In Wonderland at the time...Okay! I'm still obsessed but not as much.]

It is through the looking glass we find it.
In our image vaguely reflected in dim, half lit rooms.
It is in our own eyes and in our tears.
Frowns glowing in the darkness.
Nearly perfect camoflouge of ebony hair and clothing.
The nothing children.
The looking glass children.
Who stare at themselves and wonder at their differences.
At what makes them who they are.
For if they do not know themselves they must let society define them.
And if society must define that which is different it becomes something distasteful.
Something taboo; Something to be feared.

But hark I hear the winds of change.
Do others yet find this taboo interesting?
Is it because it is taboo that others have been drawn to it?
Is it now nothing more than a fleeting fancy, a passing whim,
To become a looking glass child for just the moment?
To turn from the looking glass and see out your window,
Hundreds of others usddenly just like you is an astounding thing.
However in the morning when the sun rises they will be gone.
And as they walk amongst the sunlight you will remain by the looking glass
Still unable to find yourself.
