Okay, first let me say SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Luke Ozai is a stud muffin and such!
Ahem....anyway......Zuko really needs to brush up on his evil heir skills. I mean, if I were him, I'd kill Azula. When I was found out, I'd make some convincing story about her leading a coup and that Azula actually let the Avatar escape, or some other nonsense.
OOOOOOR, I'd kill Ozai and Azula, and announce to the public that the they were assassinated. As the grieving son and only heir, I'd take the throne. I'd probably build some monument to appease the public, too....
Yeah, I'm either completely insane or a political genius.

But we all KNOW Zuko's a dumbass. I can't ever remember him doing something clever or well thought-out.

Zuko's still in that 'love me daddy' phase, although it seems as though it's diminished some. Like Dante said, Zuko needs to let go of his father. I think once he does that, he will get more sense to realize that his dad and Azula are up to no good.
A small part of me believes and hopes that he has a plan.

D: I'm afraid by the time Zuko realizes what side he truly wants to be on, the season will be nearly over.

[Suicide Panda] D: I'm afraid by the time Zuko realizes what side he truly wants to be on, the season will be nearly over. That would be horrible! And where does Iroh play in all of this? He was the lawful heir to the throne...

I think if he did try to kill Azula or his father, he would have a seriously hard time doing so even if he did a surprise attack. Not only that, but with the noise from the battle, Zuko would only have one chance and one choice before the other comes. Then he would have to ask himself which to defeat first and I don't think that would be an easy choice.

To burn for knowledge... I think that Zuko is in part afraid to let go, and that is why he's having trouble mastering fire as well. He has so much insecurities, sorrow and anger mixed into his life. He's one big mess. He loves his father (just like any normal child would), but he's struggling with the fact that he's not as good as his sister and does not have his father's full favor. He's slowly beginning to grasp what love actually is suppose to feel like because of Iroh treating him as a son and that is why he has returned to the Fire Nation rather than staying behind to "rule" Ba Sing Se. He wanted to keep Iroh safe after seeing his condition and his sister's words. Zuko is just a bit wonky, but his internal struggles are so sad!
...to heal with understanding.

Zuko isn't the type of person who'd do such a thing to his Sister and Father. His sister did just help him conquer Ba Sing Se even though it's was really Azula, and He still love his father and hopes for him to revive his honor. He's both Thankful and Worried

Poison or a knife to the jugular while they're asleep is the best way. It's standard nobility assasination.

[Suicide Panda] D: I'm afraid by the time Zuko realizes what side he truly wants to be on, the season will be nearly over. Honestly, Zuko can never MAKE UP HIS OWN DAMN MIND!!! Poor Iroh had to take the heat for Zuko's indeicisiveness (sp?). Zuko really wouldnt think of killing his father b/c his father basically has him whipped at this point

To the Ozai moment....well where did you expect Zuko inherited his looks from???
Well they were able to make Aang's annoying emo-ness less taxing on the first episode already. Maybe do the same for Zuko and make him change sides again, starting with freeing his Uncle. Knowing him he'll pull something similar to the Blue Spirit like last time. (Note I did not say he WILL become the Blue Spirit again, I said he could pull something SIMILAR to it.) Doing something like killing his father and sister are tempting....really tempting, but it just wouldn't be his style. And also he would be stooping to their level, and that would leave a really bad taste.

...to heal with understanding. That's a great description of Zuko, but I'm wondering if that "sudden change" near the end of season 2 meant anything. He was so helpful to his uncle and kind, but that was blown away when he went on Azula's side in the last episode of season 2.

Assasination is, but that would be too hard for him. As much as I'm sure he'd protest, he is more like his uncle than anyone else in his family. (not including his mom, I really don't know if he would be the same as her or not) Everyone else is really brutal, but he's not. Most likely he'll keep up his sneaky behavior, fail miserably, and eventually help the Avatar. Probably through his anger toward Azula about something or other.
