So Toastie totally has a Job Interview at a local hotel and golf dome... The Ramada. Job Interview... eeek.
Toastie is stressing. A lot. And her mother took her car for the day, so she has to walk 6 blocks or so and cross the busiest street in the city to get there. Seriously going to have a heart attack and pass out in the middle of the street.
But anyway, on the sane side of things... Toastie'll tell you how it goes when she gets back? This may mean less hours online, but rest assured Toastie'll pay you all plenty of attention here in the guild. <3

Edit: Hello? This is the other side speaking. Yea, Interview was interesting. What a rush.
My head felt light afterwards.
Toastie got to meet the front desk manager and the general manager of the entire hotel. They went over a lot of things twice, but they seemed pleased in general.
Toastie gets a call tomorrow-ish if they're going to hire her.
Toastie's good at selling herself. She should be a hooker. biggrin
butanyway. yea.
EditEdit: LAWL. So, a little over a week of waiting... Toastie got a phone call this morning. biggrin Yea. It was the Ramada. Toastie goes in for a week of training starting tomorrow @ 9.
She got the job!
biggrin yea. Awesome, huh? Interview must've gone exceptionally well. :3 Anyway, after training tomorrow she'll tell you all how it went. biggrin  Wallflower...

It was amazingly nerve wracking. Toastie met the desk manager and the General manager of the entire hotel. eek
They seemed impressed and loiked Toastie's mad math skills. Also multi-tasking and music and willingness to learn. I hear back from them tomorrow maybe. woo.Wallflower...

Sounds like it went well... interviews are like tests; you usually know about how well you did before you get your results back... o_o

Yea. So tomorrow at 9, she's going in for the first day of a week-long training, and then she's officially a working girl!
...only not the hooker kind of working girl... the legal kind of working girl with a job... but not a sex-trade job.

Congratulations~!
Now, enjoy it as long as you can... because it won't be long before you absolutely hate the idea of working (at least in a job that's on the low end of the totem pole... o.o)...
But meh, the money on the other hand, NEVER gets old...

You're so kind, and you seem to be absolutely everywhere. biggrin
Anyway, first day was today. Oi. Headache from standing so long. Toastie gets $10/hour for pretty much... nothing. She takes reservations, cancels them if need be, answers phones, and... that's about it.
Jasmine said it's a sweet job for what they're paying us. Toastie likes Jasmine. She's crazy and fun like Toastie's best friend.
n_n Tomorrow Toastie gets to answer phones and say more than "Ramada Hotel and Golf Dome, can I put you on hold?"Wallflower...
