[[ Crow searching for Valefor to tell her how he feels! or try to x.X; ]]
The masked male fluttered down to the ground, it had gotten too windy for him to fly. If his mind was able to focus, he could have handled the weather. But right now, ah right now his mind was everywhere. He landed a bit rougher then he'd intended, but he ignored the aches.
A few moments later, his feathery companion took shelter on a low tree branch, not wanting to risk getting knocked into something.
"Rough weather eh?" Crow asked up to the bird, who just ruffled its feathers in responce. Gentle golden eyes searched the area "Where are you Valefor...." he asked softly to himself.

Valefor was padding quietly through the trees, pondering to herself about many things and not really paying attention to where she was going; she'd just wanted to go for a walk. She'd rather have gone for a flight, but it was too windy for the sort of liesurely soar she was in the mood for. And so she was stretching her legs rather than her wings today.
She noticed Crow through some trees; it looked as though they'd been on parallel paths and might have just barely missed eachother if he hadn't landed when he did. Ships passing in the night, as they say. She wanted to greet him, but for a moment, just a moment, she decided to wait and just watched him with a soft look in her golden hawk's eyes.

He yawned, and rubbed the back of his head idly with a paw. Crow began pacing. Walking back and forth gesturing and talking to himself. How exactly does one say they care alot for someone else, when they're just friends.....oi.
"Hey Valefor, hows the weather, by the way I...." he flinched. Even to himself it was hard to say. What on earth was he going to do when or if he found her? Geez. He could fight against foes stronger and smarter then he, but tell a woman how he feels about her? It was more difficult then he'd thought. He let out a frustrated growl, and puffed himself out "I have something to tell you, " he began, using his crow companion as a valefor stand in, luckily it wasnt resemblence that mattered "I...I...GAH" he flopped down, covering his masked face under darkned paws "WHY!" he asked to himself.

Valefor listened quietly, a small smile hidden on her face behind her mask. After Crow had covered his face she approached. "Probably because without "why" whe'd never learn anything, dear friend." She sat down a few paces from him and tilted her head, the soft look still in her eyes. She'd probably given enough of a start without asking immediately what he'd been on about.

A start? Oh that was an understatement. The dark male jumped, and gave a soft yelp, his golden eyes were wide with surprise, but as soon as they focused and his brain realized who was sitting before him. He laid a paw over his heart, as his pace normalized from startled to..anxious.
A smile crept over his maw. "Dear heart...." he said with a nervous chuckle "You scared me, but you are right. Without 'why' there would be no questions in which to persue" he nodded absentmindedly, he wasnt exactly 100% focused on the 'why' question.

Valefor would have taken a step back if she hadn't been sitting. "Ah... my apologies..." She moved closer and set a paw on his shoulder. "Are you all right?"

Crow normally would have stiffened at the touch, having always fought the confused flutter of feelings inside, but now, now he warmed at the touch. He smiled softly, gentle eyes seeking out Valefors "I met your friend...Aear" he said softly. Then carried on, before Valefor could interject. " I see why he's a good friend. I look forword to next time he and i cross paths" There was no lie in his eyes, he considered Aear a friend, maybe not as close as Valefor and Aear were, but non the less, he counted the sailor as close to him.

Valefor's smile showed in her eyes. "Really? That's wonderful... I'm not sure what I would have done if you two couldn't get along..." She shook her head. "Well... did you two have a nice talk?"

Crow smiled in return, and nodded "Oh aye" he chuckled, and his eyes fell down to his paws "We talked for a while and...i think we helped each other" he smiled to himself, but it was lost beneath his painted mask "He made me realize something, he helped me realize what i was avoiding.." he trailed off softly, suddenly un-able to look her in the eyes anymore.

Oh... she knew what he wasn't able to look her in the eye and say. And it made her happy this time, rather than confused. Especially considering what was hopefully going to happen for Seer and Aear... She wasn't going to know the outcome of that little venture until she got home.
She couldn't help leaning her head down to try and get Crow to look at her. "If I dare say... it looks like you're still avoiding this thing you speak of."

A chuckle came from his throat, as he took a deep breath, he lifted his golden eyes to finally meet hers. Fear and anxiety rimmed his eyes, but so did love and a joy that hadnt been there in a long time. He smiled lightly, and lied a black paw gingerly on the cheek of Valefors mask "My dear...." he began softly, oh how his heart pounded! He could've swarn she could hear it "I...love you" He finally managed to blurt out "I..i never said anything...i was afraid of ruining our friendship" he chuckled again "But regret...ah my dear, its worse then fear"

"Dearheart... I've lost too many friends to let the fact that you care about me more push me away..." She moved his paw away from her cheek but stopped it when it started to lower. "Just a moment..."
She tugged the mask off and placed it carefully to the side and then put his paw back where it was. "Mmm. Better. Much better." She chuckled softly. "Some things require the walls to come down... yes?"
She moved a little closer and put her head on his shoulder. "I do... have feelings for you... I'm just still a little bruised right now... Not quite over it yet. I'm sorry..." She was smiling though. This was... nice. In many ways nicer than anything she'd shared with Aear. There wasn't the ache of impending loss thrown in her face anymore. "You... are the only other male... that has ever really made me feel happy... I just wanted you to know that."

Crow winced, but it was once she rested on his shoulder. He nodded gently, and wrapped a wing around Valefor, he rested his head upon her, and chuckled lightly "You look beautiful with or without your mask" he said lightly. He lightly nodded again "I understand, i just had to let you know..." oh it was nice, he never wanted it to end, but sooner or later..one of them would have to go to the bathroom.
"I mean not to rush your healing" he added quickly, not wanting to rush her in any way "Just, part of my healing..i had to let you know" ironies. the little buggers were everywhere.

Valefor chuckled. "Ah... I don't take it off for many people or many occasions." And in the end she nodded against his shoulder and then lifted her head up to give him a quick kiss on the cheek before putting it back. "...Mine too. I was alone... for a long time... before Aear. I don't want to feel like that again..."

Crow smiled in turn, he'd seen her take it off a few times, he wasnt sure when she would or wouldnt remove her mask, and it warmed his heart that she took it off for her. He lightly nipped behind her ear, and rested his head ontop of hers again "My dear, i will wait for as long as you need. And you'll never feel alone so long as there is breath within me" he said truthfully, giving her a tight squeeze to emphasize his point.
