Oh, I am fun. biggrin
A note for the two non-military pictures, those were taken by someone I love and in private, so I wasn't in my usual jacket(s) at the time. I generally don't leave my arms uncovered like that in public (I'm almost always in a jacket of some sort, or a long sleeved shirt). The picture with the cat-ears is really old, although I still have a pair that I wear around in private, and a hat with ears on it that I wear in public. My hats switch about as much as my jackets. I have my cadet hat (as seen in the mil-style picture), my tophat (as shown), my kippah, my pirate hat, my ears hat, my ears, and a hood.
I have two scarves that I switch between; the shown hijab scarf, and a standard Jack Skellington scarf. I have two pairs of thigh highs that I wear, a purple and black pair (as shown in the skirt picture) and a red and black one that I don't have any pictures of. I use 'em to cover my legs when wearing skirts or capris. I used to have several sets of gloves that I would wear, but I lost them. sad I'll be buying some more as soon as I have the funds, though. I dislike having my hands uncovered, especially if I'm near people who would want to touch them.
Finally, I have various jacket styles. Trench coat (no pictures readily available), German style mil-jacket (as seen in the mil-style picture), a black zipup hoody (no pictures available), a black bondage-mil jacket (lots of chains across the chest, no pictures readily available), some actual BDU jackets, and a black zip-up sweat shirt that looks vaguely like a dress military jacket. All are long sleeved.

I'm conflicted about photographs, myself. On the one hand, it's not me, it's just a picture, so I should be able to be photographed without my head covering. After all, I spent my whole childhood and unmarried life with my hair uncovered; not much has changed about it since then, other than the occasional tragic haircut (which has grown out, thank G*D, since last time), so theoretically it wouldn't be immodest to show it.
On the other hand, in my Sephardic Jewish tradition, a woman's hair becomes ervah (nakedness) on about the same level as her thighs, midriff, and back -- something not to be uncovered except among other women. (It's not as 'naked' as breasts, backside, or genitals, which are only uncovered before the spouse.) So in that sense, I shouldn't be photographed with my hair exposed. In fact, in the Sephardi tradition, all girls over the age of puberty/bat mitzvah once covered their hair, so technically all women should still cover once they turn twelve. I know young women (12 and older) who do cover in synagogue, and even keep their hair restrained but visible outside synagogue -- they use headbands, barrettes, braiding, and some even put on a bandana, though they make sure that a little of their hair is visible so they won't be mistaken for married women.

I normally don't take pictures with my hair uncovered.
I suppose you could just take pictures with your hair covered?

Well I do. The point is, some of my (female) friends want to know what my hair looks like, and I've said I'll think about showing them my picture. But what if their husbands or sons are home while they're checking their email? That's the issue.

Can you request that they only look at it when they're alone?

Sure, I could request it, but could I be sure that's what would happen? Some people's email programs (like mine, for instance) don't open up with a link to click for a picture - they open right up to the picture itself. No chance for a warning.
I think I'll restrict my photographs to just me and my hats.

@Divash: You could invite your female friends over, show them your hair and make sure no Male is in the house. Besides risky email XD @Dis: I love your style, it shows that your comfortable in whatever you want. biggrin

Hi, Sweet Conspiracy.
The problem is that these friends of mine live way far away. They're online friends. If I could just invite them over, it wouldn't be such a problem at all, and I wouldn't need to ask about taking pictures.
