A Shimmering Light in the Forest A shimmering light has been seen in the forest... Both at day and at night. The light in the day appears to be dark blue, while the one at night is... Lavender. Pick a time, go, investigate.
Draeval watched the lights every night and for a few moments in the day. "What is that?" she mumbled to herself. It had been going on for days now, and Draeval's curiosity to know everything won her over. She tried to see what is was with her Time Element but something blocked it and that frustrated her, her power seemed to have been blocked ever since the lights went up. "I will go out tonight when everyone is asleep," she muttered quietly making sure no one was listening she didn't want to be followed. She wandered down a corridor, it was in the middle of the blazing day and brightly light lit the hall. The torches wouldn't be lit until dark.
Draeval stepped outside the Observatory noticing the lights once more they changed colour often. It was dark blue in the day and lavander at night. She lay down by the door and watched the lights dance in the day. She napped there all afternoon forcing her to wake at nightfall. She dreamed happily, wondering what they were. She thought of evil dangerous things that could have created the light. But what dangerous things would make beautiful light. Draeval woke with a start and shutter something almost ate her in a dream. Draeval shook her head to wake herself fully.
As perusal the lights were still on. Draeval made her way quietly toward the forest. Her cat-like paws making no sound at all. Draeval crouched low and crept nearer to the light. The closer she got the weaker her element felt as the light itself intensified as she came nearer. Draeval snuck closer hiding herself behind a bush. She saw many different colored fairies and Sekkar playing around a large crystal. What caused the large clear crystal to glow was the lavander and blue Fairies flew around it who where also glowing their colour, they lit the crystal and colorful beams of light where shown.
Draeval flapped her large silver tipped wings and watched quietly. The crystal must be what weakened her power, if so how would she break it? It had made her weak. She couldn't see what was coming. Draeval had to use her cunning instead of the Time element. What if the crystal was fragile? She wondered could she throw a rock and break it? She would have to scare the fairies first then throw a rock at it. That could possibly work...
Draeval crouched into a pouncing position hoping to scare the fairies for long enough to throw a rock at the crystal and shatter it. Draeval flapped her small wings again and leapt out of the bushes. The fairies seemed to have scattered and the Sekkar vanished. Draeval stepped up near toward the crystal. Her paw found a rock and Draeval picked it up and threw it as the best she could at the crystal.
Please Break she thought silently.
The crystal shattered easily which was strange something that thick unless, it was hollow. "What is going on?" Draeval shouted in frustration. Ren her rabbit Sekkar companion poped out of the Crystal reckage giggling "What he Heck!" she said still incredibly suprised "I am gona get you" she began to chase the Rabbit Sekkar but it had already vanished. She was compleatly at a loss for words... She was tricked! That Rabbit and his friends tricked her! That was so not fair! When she saw the Sekkar next well... Draeval wasn't pleased at all.
Draeval slowly made her way back to the Observatory though she could sence her element once more. "How did they do that?" she wondered aloud or was it them that did it at all. Draeval would never know. Draeval returned to the Observatory with her Tale to tell the other Sarin.
