I'll have to see if they have it on You-Tube for me to see it. I find it rather interesting on how different the three shows are. Sarah Jane Adventures (Kids) Dr. Who (Kids and Adults) Torchwood (Adult)

I didn't see it... was it (overall) any good?
Incidentally, the Torchwood subforum has been turned into a general spin-off subforum, so this thread will get moved over there... eventually.

I thought it was pretty good overall. I mean, I know I'm way over the target age for the show (I think it's aimed at 10-14 year olds, and I'm 23), but I did catch myself laughing at a few bits. I watched the second episode on the CBBC channel straight afterwards, and I only do that if I like the show.
I have to admit though, I definitely prefer Clyde to Kelsey. Even though he is more or less playing the same role, it still adds a slightly different dynamic to the team.

I liked it. It was entertaining and well paced. The Slitheen were a bit over-the-top for my taste though - and just too - human! It's like they only give them enough 'alien' traits to justify their destruction sad Sarah Jane believes in a non-violent approach, I wonder if she'll ever get to use it?

I caught about half of this, and... the Slitheen were just silly. Their plan made no sense. Most of the characters were annoying. It was just plain bad... until the baby Slitheen showed up. Then it just got funny. I LOL'd big time. I missed the second part, though... tell me, did they get rid of the baby one incredibly easily? I swear, it was smaller then they were, claws or not claws.

I would like to see it because I have been a Sarah Jane fan for many years. She was a great character.

I'm at the top of the target age (14) I have to say the aliens made me laugh, it feels more a part of doctor who than torchwood. I like it but in the way where you watch if it fits your schedule
