Twilight sets in; I can see it in your face
You carry the feelings of fear and disgrace
I can tell the time by the broken thorns of the black rose
I can see the world through a pool of blood
I can hear your voice echoing near in these high cavernous walls
I feel a rush of warmth, your heart. Where are you? I can sense you by my minds eye but why can I not find you? Am I forever lost in another world?
Mirrors all over reflect our deepest feelings along with a forever swinging pendulum of a clock on the wall that tells the time when all will fall. I call out to your heart wherever it may be, set out on that twilight sea of souls, however, you do not answer me. I wander through these repeating halls again and again to no avail. Coffins and spirits and crosses everywhere, along with that forever swinging pendulum always ticking nearby. Time seems slower here, your pale fear stricken face echoing in the back of my mind……, Am I Dead?
