Sorry about the huge post sweatdrop
Yesterday I was sitting downstairs, playing on Thars wii, when Sarah (my younger sister) called me to say Gizmo (my cat) had a mouse in my room. I ran upstairs to get it off her and, thinking it was dead, made her drop it. I was wrong stare It ran off into my room, and I think I may have mentioned before about what a huge mess it is. Well I ripped my room apart to find the mouse because I didn't want it to chew stuff or die and stink me out, when my mum started screaming that it was in the hall. Giz had gone out and was staring at a box on our stairs, so mum had moved it forward to check there was nothing behind it, and there was a mouse. She hates mice so it was really funny because she didn't stop screaming "it's here!!" even when we were there xd Anyway I caught the mouse and picked it up and the first thing I said was "this isn't the same mouse". Nobody believed me because what's the chance of finding 2 random mice in your home on the same day. We haven't got any evidence of a nest (droppings, chewing etc) so we decided it must be the same one and I trundled off up the road to let it go on the embankment. When I got back I started to pit my room back as best I could with Treeshas (my older sister) help, when her son called out that there was a mouse in my mums room. We thought he was just messing about until he started yelling about it more, and when we looked, lo and behold, there was another one. It ran under her bed so I got a torch and Treesha and Sarahs boyfriend lifted the bed up. It turned out there was 2 under there so we moved the bed and the little bastards disappeared. We pulled the rest of the room apart looking for them and eventually I saw one run off down a wall and into a hole in the floor where we'd had radiators fitted. We decided thats how they must be getting in the rooms. We don't know why they chose upstairs though because there's no food up here. Since all that has happened, Giz has caught 3 in my room, so I'm pleased with her. My dad is always saying she's useless so now he can't, because none of the other cats have caught any lol

That's exactly what I thought because I turned my radiator on the other day. She's still catching them, about 1 a day, and my mum found some stuff chewed up in the cupboard under the stairs today D:

eek That's funny lol
We live in the cain fields, so we have mice problems every now and then. Usually at the end of cain season. Mom caught 8 mice in one day once! We use mouse traps. Pecans are the best. Forget the old legend of using cheese to catch a mouse. Pecans 3nodding
