Veysa There hook-up was so random though. They kissed and I did a double take and was like wait WHAT! One moment she was chasing him with Azula the next they're together. NOt even an explanation or a showing of the relationship build up. Which leads me to believe it was made on shaky ground to start on and it won't be able to stand through to the end
And, even in the comic, it didn't have very strong grounding. Basically, Zuko is hesitant about returning to the Fire Nation because Iroh's imprisoned in Ba Sing Se or something. Azula sets up a plan to get him and Mai together so he'll return with her, but even then he still wants to stay with Iroh. Just as the others are preparing to leave, Zuko sees Iroh being loaded onto a ship going to Fire Nation and decides to go with them.
Yup. He's totally doing it for Mai. :/

Damn teen hookups, they never last. It makes me happy just to think that it's just another teen hookup that doesn't last more than a year.
(Even if Aang calls them 'soulmates'.)

Which is why I like Zutara, especially future!Zutara. because, in the state their in right now, Zuko and Katara have a long way to go before their on romantic terms. They have to become friends first. Dx
