Hey, I started this subject so that we could talk about what J.K. Rowling will do next.
We all LOVE Harry Potter, but what now that the books are over???????

I heard a rumor that she will start writing mystery books. I think that would be pretty cool!

I heard on mugglenet.com that she might write a Harry Potter encyclopedia.

I am excited but a bit sad because I will be thinking of Harry Potter and how it is over! THough she is treating us with the encyclopedia, I don't know if I can read the books. Might be too much of an emotional impact. O.o

I truely think that just harry potter is her thing... And if she trys otherbooks.. people will not like them.

I honestly don't care what JKR writes next. Aside from the promised encyclopedia, of course.
The new books will be in a totally different style than HP, you are all aware? I've heard she either wants to write for little kids or for adults - that would be the mystery books. I've never been particularly into mysteries, and I have very little faith in JKR's writing ability to begin with, so I'll not be reading whatever she comes out with.
Hopefully, she'll allow a spelling and grammar check this time, though, before the books hit shelves.
I do support her continuing to write. If that's what she enjoys, than go for it.
