Adair sighed when Kainda finally let him go. He felt like his image was completely ruined. He was trying to impress Evie here! Still he felt at least Elisa would veiw him as a knight. He knew he had a good enough impression on her that this little annoyence of a mishap wouldn't ruin his standing with her at least.

"We go." he agreed gallently, bowing and offering his claw, gently wraping it around her hand and then went to lead her inside, sending one last glare to his guardian, daring Kainda to try to stop him.

The kitsune felt no need and didn't want to enter another battle with him. Let him have his fun, she could always bug him later. Besides, Kainda turned to look at the pair of adults, there seemed to be another battle brewing already. Ivan, though not really a friend, was someone she knew longer so she felt herself start to quietly align herself with him when she flashed Evie a warm smile.

"It wasn't his fault that the kids ran off. They just wandered, you know? He was talking to me, I'm sure that if we weren't there this wouldn't have ever happened." Kainda spoke up quickly, hoping to wipe this over. She really hated to hear yelling. It brought up a lot of uncomfortable memories.

Bouncing excitedly, Elisa happily cupped her hand with Adair's as he led her into the building. She was happy that Adair was going to get rid of Mr. Foofoo, but she was also slightly disappointed that she would most likely miss Icky getting yelled out. It always made her happy when Icky got in trouble since he was naughty boy, but it also really funny.

Oh well...There would be more eventually, yelling at Icky that is.

"Elisa lives on the top," the toddler directed at her escort. Elisa wasn't sure if Adair had ever been to this building or knew where she lived. All signs pointed to no, so she felt the need to tell him. Or they would aimlessly walk around...

Luckily for Kaindra and Elisa, Evie had no intention of yelling at Ivan in front of their guest. It would be extremely rude, and she had to praise her mother for one thing. She instilled manners on her.

The yelling would have to wait until later...

Returning the warm smile, "I'm extremely glad the children are all right," Evie started directing her hard eyes over to Kaindra, which melted into warm pools. "I would invite you up for some tea, but someone destroyed my house again." At that she glared at Ivan only to return her smile back to Kaindra. "Regardless, I'm Evie. Elisa's mum."

It was good, since Adair seemed bound and determained to lead them without having any idea where they were going but would lead none the less. He nodded gallently at Elisa's information, as if it wasn't vital but just a good little peice of advice. Still he was glad for it and took her to the stairs, leading her up. His wings spread around her, a protective move that would help her if she started to fall back. She most likely wouldn't but that didn't reduce the sweetness of the move.

"Besides the evil beast, do you like where you live?" Adair asked, wanting to know. He wanted to know everything about Elisa. She would be a good friend and Adair liked that about her. He already had a best friend but that didn't mean he couldn't have endless numbers of good friends, close friends, loving friends.

Kainda relaxed when she realized the woman wasn't planing on yelling in front of her. Good, she just couldn't stand yelling and wanted to be far away if she was bound and determained to do so.

"I'm Kainda...Adair's...guardian." She never felt too comfortable with the title 'mom'. It put a lot of responblity on her that she just wasn't quiet ready for that title, even though guardian was almost the same thing the almost made her feel better. "It's nice to meet you. Your little girl is adorable." Compliments always seemed smart.

Did she like where she lived? Well...it was clean enough when Ivan didn't do something stupid. She had her own room, aside from the Mr. Foofoo invasion. She also lived near flowers. That was always a plus. A pretty lady should always be near flowers. It accentuates their beauty, not that Elisa needed any accentuations. She was a Pretty afterall.

She also had Icky, who provided her with a large amount of entertainment. Meaning, her house was fun, at least to her.

Delicately placing her index finger to her lip, Elisa lightly tapped it before she gave Adair her response. "Hmm...Yes. Yes. Elisa likes her house. Elisa has tea parties with Icky. Adair ever have a tea party?"

If not, maybe one day she should invite Adair to a tea party. Maybe everyone should come.

Yes.

And shower her with love and affection. She was a Pretty.

Evie smiled simply and gave a slight nod of the head. 'She seems to think so as well," The woman added with a laugh. "She's such a girl, but it's cute to be one with her. I grew up with him,"

Evie threw a disgruntled nod in his Ivan's direction, who at that point looked like he was trying get away. Only with the acknowledgement, he stayed rooted in his spot.

"Adair's quite cute himself. He seems to really get on with Elisa."

Adair watched her as she thought, leading her up the stairs even though he really didn't know where they were going. He didn't have to lead he realized, so long as someone knew he could still lead and just wait for them to change the directions, so long as he didn't go to far ahead at least. Since he wanted to be at her side it was no problem to remain there.

"No, I haven't. What's a tea party?" he asked. Honestly tea parties weren't much for an ames like Adair. Not that he couldn't appcriate the fun of them, but the delicate nature of tea parties made it hard for strong clawed fellows like Adair to work well. No need to invite a bull to a tea shope.

"Hmmm. I always liked being a tom boy." Kainda admited, proably more likely to bond with the lazy and mildly messy Ivan than she ever would with a girly girl, especially a strict one. Kainda...just didn't deal well with rules and enforcements. "But I got a brother my self, I understand." she lied. She got along wonderfully with her brother, and he was the single light of her childhood. It was the sister she couldn't stand.

"Oh he likes being the knight or the prince. Since Elisa loves being a princess they seem like a match made in heaven no? Very well suited to each other. So...uh...what is Elisa's...blend?"

Elisa almost stopped right there on the stairs. What was a tea party? WHAT WAS A TEA PARTY? How could Adair not know what a tea party was? Oh the horror! Things seemed to be going so well until this point. Adair knew, to Elisa's knowledge, and liked everything that she liked, so how could Adair not know what a tea party was?

That simply would not do!

Though...perhaps Elisa could teach Adair how to play tea party. Yes. Just because he didn't know what a tea party was did not mean that Adair could not learn. Of course! Elisa would teach Adair how to play tea party, and then he would love to play. Maybe he would even enjoy torturing Icky with tea parties...or maybe he would suffer like Icky...But regardless, Elisa would show Adair the best tea party.

"Oh tea parties very fun~!" Elisa basically sang with a little bounce. Very fun, indeed. The enjoyment of tea parties and the shock that Adair didn't know what they were made Elisa totally disregard Adair's questions as to what they were. Regardless, "Elisa and Adair have tea party?"

Evie smiled and nodded in response to Kainda. So she understood as well? At least someone did, or so she thought. Regardless, it was a comforting thought to the woman.

"Oh, Elisa is a fan," Evie replied with a laugh. "Very fitting if you ask me."

Adair realized the moment he said something shocking to the girl. He tilted his head to the side as his ears flicked a little. With a guardian like Kainda, and his own boyish additude he just was never introduced to the concept before hand. Nor was he likely to enjoy it without someone like Elisa around. He frowned a bit though when she asked if they should have one.

" It...would be fun but..." Adair held up one of his hands, showing her the clawed thing he had instead of hands. So far they were...almost as good as having actually hands. A lot of times he broke things and that made it hard but he didn't wnat to break anything of Elisa's. She was his friend.

"I don't wanna break anything on acident, is that okay if I maybe do?" Adair asked a little worried. He didn't want to make Elisa upset, she was such a nice girl. He didn't want anyone to upset her.

Kainda smiled as she realized she managed to at least relax Evie a bit. That was good, maybe she'd go nicer on Ivan, really it wasn't his fault, the kids just walked off as kids sometimes do. Kids don't realize that other people can worry about them. Their world is very intospective, selfish some could say.

"Oh definately. Then again they're all fitting right? Adair is a gryphon. Confused the hell out of the mages because, you know, he had like three different animal parts on him."

How polite. He asked if it would be all right to break things. With Icky, he never asked if he could break or destroy something. He did as he pleased and repeated broke whatever he wanted. How disgraceful. At least with Adair, he asked if it would be all right. It just goes to show that Adair was much more of a man than Icky.

"No. No," Elisa explained shaking her red head feverishly. "It fine. Icky breaks Elisa's tea sets all the time. It okay if you break too."

And it was. Elisa didn't care if Adair broke her tea sets. He was her friend after all. Now if he was an Icky (or Icky himself) playing tea party with her that would be another story...

Evie let out a slight laugh with Kainda's explanation. She would assume it would be a tad alarming to see a child with several animal parts emerge.

"Would you like to join us inside? It might be a little messy..." She paused to throw Ivan another glare. "but I feel extremely rude just keeping you here, and it appears the children have gone inside as well."

Adair grinned happily. He really never meant to break things. He just had that type of tendency. That's why he rarely wrote in his journal. He tended to break things. Pencils, pens, basically anything that was breakable and tea cups sound like that. He'd just have to be careful, he knew that Elisa liked her things pretty.

"Good. I wouldn't want to make Elisa mad. Elisa is too pretty to be without." Adair added. He knew already that Elisa loved compliments and he liked making people like her smile. He just liked making people comfortable around him and liking him. Besides it's good incase anything happened that might make her mad to already know how to make her unmad.

Kainda smiled at the invite. he glanced inside and saw Adair was already long gone so she let out a light laugh. Might as well just accept it. Besides Evie did seem nice and to sit for a little while would be nice. She was in no rush to get anywhere so might as well let Adair make his new friend. Would make him forget to be grumpy.

"I'd love too and don't worry about a mess. I get very messy." she admited and shrugged a bit while smiling a little. "But coming in sounds prety nice."
