~Personality~ If she is in a large group or with someone she does not know she finds it hard to talk to them, instead she will use one of her puppets or her stuffed toy as a medium for conversation. She can come off as rude and stubborn but can be a lovely person when you get to know her, happy to help and protect her friends. She has seen and done a lot but still has a streak of naivety.
~Appearance~ Penny is far from the best of health, her addiction really took its toll on her. She is far too skinny for her body shape, she is very bony and her peachy skin has very little life in it. There are deep bags under her green eyes which though the rest of her is lacking in life her eyes are full of it and dart around taking everything in.
Penny is just under five foot, has a small almost flat chest (which she absolutely hates.) She has pleasant facial features however she is more likely to be referred to as cute than beautiful.
Her brown hair comes to her shoulders, it is layered and most of the time looks very messy. She ties it into low bunches or pleats to keep it out of the way but wisps always stick out. Her fringe is the same messy way and comes to just above her eyes. She currently has a few odd patches that look almost pink about half-way down her hair, about a month ago when she was high someone suggested dieing there hair red, the pink patches being the result. She kept meaning to dye it back but never seemed to get round to it.
She wears baggy clothing like jumpers and hoodies with jeans, she likes to hang onto her comfiest clothing so often her jumpers will have holes at the elbows or be ripping at the seam.
~Likes~ Making puppets, copying people, stuffed toys, the circus, getting her own way, old jumpers, reading, sweets, the countryside.
~Disikes~ Doing other forms of art, school, noisy people, people who don't agree with her, broccoli, people teasing her.
~History~ Penny was born in a tiny village three hours outside of London, it was so small there was no school and it was a forty minute bike ride. Her father and mother ran a tiny corner shop selling most everything they could. Although they were content Penny was often lonely, there being very few children her own age, as such when she was very young she would play with her soft toys and pretended they could talk. Although this was normal for a child as Penny got older she never grew out of it, often carrying one with her making it reply instead of herself when people talked to her. It was an odd habit and though she knew it she found it hard to talk to people without doing it, after being teased one time too many she finally stopped taking one about with her. However when people spoke she would often panic or speak so quietly no one could hear.
The teasing didn't stop and she went through her school life hating every minute, she wasn't particularly clever, the only subject she enjoyed was art. After she dropped out of school without any qualifications she convinced her parent to let her move to London. They didn't want her to go but she told them she wanted to be an artist and she couldn't do that where she was. It took a long time but they eventually let her go, she was going to be staying with her elder cousin who lived there already.
Penny got there she settled into the grubby flat rather quickly, it was far from clean but she grew up in the country, bugs and mice didn't bother her. She spent most of her time trying to find a job and any spare working on a portfolio. When her cousin lost her job Penny had to devote all her time trying to find one herself to keep them afloat, there was nothing, and when the rent was due they were kicked out. Her cousin had some friends though so they went to stay with them, there were eight of them in a crowded flat, Penny still couldn't find a job and she was so run down she stopped any attempt at creating anything soon falling into a depression.
One night when everyone was feeling particularly low someone suggested having a party, a few people disappeared and when they came back they set out something on the table as the others crowded around. She was handed a straw and after watching her cousin she copied what to do. She felt incredible afterwards everything felt so much better, she felt stronger, that her failure meant nothing anymore. She was completely hooked on the feeling and,after finding the dealer she had soon spent all her money on coke and was getting desperate for more. When she wasn't high she got so bad at handling her life she reverted back to using a soft toy to talk from her. In fact for a short while she made money entertaining the other people in the flat making the soft toys tell jokes or stories, even mimic one of them in jest. Things weren't going well though and soon they stopped paying, none of them could really afford the rent. Just before they were kicked out Penny wound up leaving with some of them to go squat in an old house. She felt rather bad about it, she had left her cousin and the others to try and find the money for the months rent knowing full well they couldn't.
As the months passed Penny wound up in a terrible state, she had nothing but the clothes on her back and one soft toy, everything else had been sold or stolen. She was almost permanently on something, she couldn't see her future or herself and her habit had forced her into many things she'd rather forget. She didn't know what to do, that was until she saw the advertisement. She just stood and looked at the poster, her cold eyes hungry for colourful lights and pictures. It was then then her mind suddenly cleared, just for a moment and she knew what she had to do. With purpose fueling her, Penny threw out her stash and went cold, it was awful but those beautiful lights seemed to push away all dark thoughts of her giving up. A week later she was content it was all out and knew she would never go back as long as the circus would have her.

~Talent~ Penny is talented at puppetry, she is very good at watching people and imitating them and even their voice with her puppets.
~Stage 1~
Penny makes very simple puppets, little more than wire with a few moving joints. She is quite good at imitating movement though voices need some work.
~Stage 2~
Her puppets have improved they now look like regular wooden puppets. More joints mean better, more realistic movements. Even the voice mimicry has improved.
~Stage 3~
Her puppets have improved to the point they look like miniature people, no matter how hard they look no one can see a single join. Her puppets movements are fluid and she can even mimic some of the other performers tricks (for example a tumbler or clown). Also her voices are near enough spot on.
~Costume~
When she starts performing properly Penny will use make-up to make herself look like a puppet. For example drawing on joins and dressing like one.

Penny didn't bring anything with her except one stuffed toy. It is a very floppy old husky dog by the name of Stubby. She is incredibly protective of it and will often carry him around with her.[X]
