This sticky is just temporary. I made it to make sure everyone reads it. On to the thing I was about to say...
When we RP, can we keep it as a literal and grammar/vocabulary-correct subforum? I don't mean to be rude to those who use shortcuts, I really don't, but it never just feels right when someone posts like this:
[random guy] says:
"[random guy] walks along the deserted corridor, glancing behind his shoulder a couple of times. He feels as if someone is following him so, being him, he treads along the path carefully."
Then another person replies as:
[random girl] says:
"[random girl] walks up 2 da guy frm behind 'n hits him on da head wid a big mallet."
Doesn't it feel...weird that way? One person posts all fancy then another replies with shorcuts. I have nothing against shortcuts, if that's what you're thinking. I use them all the time when I text. But it feels sort of...illiterate to rp that way. And weird. ...Mostly weird on my part. xd
So what do you people say? This is just a sticky suggestion...comments and suggestions are welcome. biggrin Yes, even FLAMES are allowed. Now you may throw randomly sharp and heavy objects on me.* hides*

So yeah people, please do it right so people can understand and follow. ^^

I totally agree with the no shortcuts thing.
For some odd reason. Shortcuts piss me off.

SHORTCUTS are only used in text messaging to save up some of your cellular phone's balance!
I'd totally hate seeing that...
