Momo was an apeman-like creature that was seen around a small Missouri twon in 1972. He was only seen for about two weeks, and his name is derived from the abbreviation of Missouri (MO) and the first letters of Monster.
When the sightings first started, it was by three childern and they described him as 'tall black and hairy.' It was flecked with blood and it was carrying a dead dog under its arm. And earlier that day, a farmer heard some horrible growling noises outside, and when he went to investigate, his new dog was missing. People also noted when they saw the Momo that there was a rancid odor around. And they also believe that UFOs were present in the area.
Had anyone else heard of the Momo? It was one of the more interesting Monsters that I read about. And if anyone has more info on it, do post it!
