Unpremeditated RP [Open]

Waking up the next morning, I hear a ruffling noise. I look up and around to see what was making it. Then I saw the gypsy lady again. I realized that I don't know her name. I ask, "What's your name ma'am?" She answers, "Oh I'm Steph, and what would your name be dear?" I replied cautiously, "Lily." Then Steph said, "Ok now that we know each other I need your help with a few things. Once your done with them, then you can leave whenever you like." I was about to say thanks for the permission to leave your home, but I held it back because I realized I owed her for helping me out. So instead I said, "Ok, what would you like me to do first?" She said, "Well I need you to collect this list of herbs from my garden outside." I looked at the list and seen that it had almost 50 herbs on it. A few I recognized, like thyme, lavender, bay leaves, and the rest were unknown. So I asked her about what those specific one's looked like. In the middle of my question though she interrupted me and told me that I will do fine and that I should get started if I expect to get this done before dark. So I went outside to collect all 50 herbs. I collected the ones that I knew of first. Then I just seen a lot of different kinds of herbs so I decided to grab a few of each. While picking the herbs, I think, this is going to take awhile.

.....And so it did. The very next day Steph started explaining to me what each herb was for. I thought why is she telling me this. I wish she would just tell me what she wanted me to do next so I could get the heck outta here. I listened to her as patiently as I could. I even wrote down the things she told me, so she didn't think I was ignoring her or anything. After a week of her describing to me the herbs and properties, she started having me mix a few up for her. After I completed one mixture she told me what that mixture was for. I ended up learning how to make a healing salve, and a way to cause an explosion by throwing two of the different mixtures together. It took me a month it seemed to get everything down. Finally, after I got all of it down pat, Steph said that she needed me to do just two more things then I could leave to wherever I chose. I told her that although I desperately want to get home, that I wasn't sure if I could leave her here by herself. She told me not to worry about her. After she said that, she fainted, passed out, or something. I ran to her to find out what was wrong with her. Her head was hot, very hot. I picked her up and carried her to her bed. Then I went to get a rag with cool water in it. I put the rag on her head and every 5 minutes or so I changed it to put a cold one on. After an hour of doing this, with her fever getting worse, she woke up. I told her that she has a very bad fever, and that I couldn't get her temperature down. She told me that there wasn't anything I could do, because she was infected with some virus that has no cure. I said to her that there has to be a way to find one. She told me that there wasn't and that I needed to do something for her. Two things to be exact, one was to free an animal from someone named Mazdar. The other was to heal the pet with the healing salve that she taught me. I told her that I will do these things after I get her better. She told me no, that I had to do them now. Then she stopped breathing, and was staring at the ceiling. Her gaze was blank, like there was nothing there. I realized that she was dead, so I cried out, and held her to me. I closed her eyelids, and eventually I cried myself to sleep next to her.

I woke up with tear stains all over my face and Steph laying there lifeless. I stood up and gathered my possessions, as well as some food and water for the road. I didn't think I could stand to stay there. After I packed the supplies, including some of the mixtures I learned from Steph, I buried her the best I could. I made a makeshift grave stone, with her jewelry hanging down from it. I figured since the jewelry looked worthless, that nobody would bother stealing it. I laid down for a few hours rest, then I picked up my supplies and went through the door. I headed down the road, on the start of a journey to anywhere else, but here.

Not story related (I sort of moved what I was typing to another thread. Since noone else had showed up and everything. I was sort of thinking if it was good enough later maybe I would try to turn it into a book. I would probably change a few things here and there though. If you want to rp it though I can try. By the way I'm human in this one.)

While walking down the road, I heard a rustling in the bushes. I turned my head to look, only to see a rabbit-penguin critter running away from me. I was relieved and continued walking down the road. It was very hot outside, and I needed some shade. So I headed toward this tree across the road from a boulder, and leaned against it.
