Frowning slightly at the question, Vera paused before answering slowly and thoughtfully, "I think it's strange. Not the adoption obviously, just the whole thing in general. It feels like there's more to it than is being said. But it is a nice place -and probably not all that strange compared to some place here in Gaia -and I've checked it out. It's all legal."
She shrugged. Maybe she was being paranoid, but she just found Divinity suspicious. The key component was how they tried to hide themselves so much from the outside world, yet she never actually had seen anyone who worked here besides Nikita.
And he was just so nervous all the time.
"I probably sound ungrateful, but I really am glad they contacted me. It'd be nice to have a child. It was unexpected, but I've grown attached to the idea. What do you think of this place?"

"Well..." She paused for a very long time, staring down at the grass thoughtfully. She'd considered a lot about Divinity HQ and what it was they were doing since she had answered the letter and became a guardian-in-waiting.
When she finally spoke again the sleepyness was gone, replaced with a quiet seriousness, focused and thoughtful. "I think... if it's what the Sylph want, to become human, than what Divinity is doing is something good. I've known of worse places. Ones that created sentient beasts only to used them for tests." She looked down at her hands thoughtfully, pressing her lips together. "So... I'm willing to help. They really seem to have good intentions."
Divinity did a good job of putting their best face forward (Nikita) and giving the most positive and -select- information. Hearing that someone else had actually checked it out and confirmed that it was legal just added to Casi's confidence that this place was being good and useful and helpful. So what if they kept private? Not everywhere wanted to be crawling with curious Gaians.
And oh, were Gaians curious.
She looked up again, the dopy, sleepy expression back on her face. "I think... uh.. if you're talking about the apartments... I think they're great. Free place to live at the cost of watching over a kid." She balked a little at the thought of calling it her -child-. "I kinda hope... uh.. the one I get will think of me more like.. a sister..or an aunt, rather than a mother. I don't think I'd be a good mother." She gave an awkward chuckle.
