This eye technique is a seperate evolution from the Bayakugan eye, though its abilities have mutated to a radically different form. While the Byakugan allows the user to see Chakra points and have 360 field vision, the Shinzuigan allows the user to see something else: spirits. This is active at all times, and because the users can see the spirits, they can talk to and hear them. This ability can give them amazing insight and information, for the spirits are always in tune with the living, though not always the other way around. This ability comes with a price: most of the users have some sort of deficiency for this power. Urahara is an extreme narcoleptic: he can sleep for weeks at a time or stay up for weeks at a time with no sleep. In the middle of a battle, he is a liability.
Weapon: None. Urahara is protected by the spirits of the dead.

History: Not many people know about Urahara. He came to Konoha one day from a village far away, and is usually found wandering the town or sleeping at an oak tree in the graveyards. However, he attended the academy for a month (many people found him awake even at the dead of night practicing his ninjutsu). When it came to Taijutsu, he was very sloppy and bad. His ninjutsu was very good for his age, but it was his Genjutsu that gave him flying colors. Many Genjutsus are illusions: Urahara's genjutsu warps reality. Nobody else knows what he sees, but he claims to be able to show people 'the truth of what is really out there.'
One battle was between him and a notorious bully of his. The bully would often insult or attack Urahara with Taijutsu, claiming that he was just a nut job, just like his family because he claims to see what others cannot. However, it turns out that Urahara and the bully had to fight in the Academy grounds to determine Urahara's rank. Urahara only grinned and made a few hand signals, and whispered 'Let me show you the bright side of the darkside.'
The bully recoiled in fear, screaming in terror as he fell to the ground, writhing in pain. Urahara snapped his fingers and chuckled, walking away from the fight. The bully never fully recovered from what he saw.
Personality: Urahara is a sweet guy, though he is very shy. Due to his clan curse, he tends to be quiet when approaching others, hoping to look friendly and unassuming. Despite the fact he is always listening to his ambient or chill out music, he is actually very aware of his surroundings and who is talking to him. However, many people find it disturbing when he seems to just fall dead, only to find he is sound alseep.
Other: Urahara is always listening to music in his headphones. It tends to be ambient or chill out music, since it helps block out the noise the spirits make and soothes him out. Sometimes he can be seen mumbling to himself as if he were talking to someone else present, though more often then not he is generally just another relaxed guy with a smile on his face, enjoying a stroll with his music.
