It is with great sadness that I tell you that the Dragon is gone. RJ left us today at 2:45 PM. He fought a valiant fight against this most horrid disease. In the end, he left peacefully and in no pain. In the years he had fought this, he taught me much about living and about facing death. He never waivered in his faith, nor questioned our God’s timing. I could not possibly be more proud of anyone. I am eternally grateful for the time that I had with him on this earth and look forward to our reunion, though as I told him this afternoon, not yet. I love you bubba.
Our beloved Harriet was at his side through the entire fight and to the end. The last words from his mouth were to tell her that he loved her.
Thank each and everyone of you for your prayers and support through this ordeal. He knew you were there. Harriet reminded him today that she was very proud of the many lives he had touched through his work. We’ve all felt the love that you’ve been sending my brother/cousin. Please keep it coming as our Harriet could use the support.
Jason will be posting funeral arrangements.
My sincerest thanks.
Peace and Light be with each of you,
Wilson Brother/Cousin 4th of 3
To Catalyst: Never, never loose faith. RJ did not. Harriet hasn’t. I haven’t. Going through what we have, our faith is only strengthened. Besides, if God didn’t exist, we would have never had Jim. We did. God does. Remember my Brother/Cousin, my friend, think of him fondly and glorify God’s name.

"Our Dragon has left this earth in body, but he will always be remembered as one of the greatest story tellers to walk this earth. Forever rest in peace, Our Dragon."
My the Light shine on you forever RJ, and the mothers last embrace welcome you home, we will miss you, and the friends, *nods around the guild* and good times, your books have given us. "We all must wake from the dream" as you put it. I know that where you have gone, is a place where you are just as much loved as you were here. Forever in our hearts James, forever.

He's gone to a better place. RIP, Dragon-sama! We all love you! heart
I wonder if a family member will write the last book, like J.R.R Tolkein's son did.

It's like he KNEW when it was coming... He was a great man. he had seen death around him before. he most likely knew the signs. but at least he died happy.

God, i just read that blog the other day...I think it was friday. God, i didn't even know he had died yet. I had been reading the series for the second time after i finally bought the 11th book, and i just finished the 11th about 2-3 weeks ago. I just randomly decided to go check out his blog, and saw that he had already died. And to be truthful, i cried like hell. He died while i was at Naval Aviation Life Support A-school in florida. About a month and a half after i had gotten there.
I just came back to gaia. I've been gone for about a year. I was in this guild a long long long time ago. I guess i've been in it the entire time i was gone.
